How is it surprising in the slightest that me an Amp are both going for you? I know that you are lying, because I know I am a finder. And you've claimed you've found Amp as scum, so if he's inno he'll know you're lying too.

As for your partner, I'm not that sure. I would maybe guess Sorrit at this stage, since he's the one of your finds who I don't also know is innocent, and who you aren't trying to get lynched.

It is quite possible for partners not to be very connected. I would guess that they are unlikely to step forward to defend you very strongly, since that post almost seems like it's warning them off.

A large part was simple lack of good options.

Even going back to day 1, Anth seemed unlikely as a master. For example:

Anthras was who I felt most likely to be scum at that stage. Between you and him was quite a tough decision (since there wasn't anyone else I really felt was too scummy). However, I felt that he was likely a symp, and didn't have anyone I was confident finding based on them being the master. I realised that because of his play I was most likely (unless something scummier showed up, and he did seem rather scummy to me) going to go after him whether I got an inno find back or not, because I thought he was a symp anyway. So it just seemed like a poor find - just like lynching someone you are confident is a symp is undesirable, and so I decided against it.

You were the main candidate for day one. A lot of people were bandying about connections involving you. While I didn't think it was a great case, it was day one and I was hardly sure of your innocence. Finding you gave me peace of mind for the next day that I wasn't going off in completely the wrong direction, instead of continuing pressure on you. I felt it was good time to find you, since it would've been quite easy to put pressure on you the next day given the almost lynch had I found you as scum.

I also considered just aiming at someone I had no read on, simply because I didn't have much read on them. I mainly dismissed this idea because I didn't like the randomness of it, and because it didn't give me a useful CI (knowing someone is innocent is far more useful when it is someone who is active and posting content).

I did a quick reread through, and here are my thoughts. As far as Silanah goes, I don't think I buy her reveal. I agree with Amp, if Silanah KNEW that Amp was scum, why jump on the Karosis train? She didn't campaign hard, it was kind of a weak case on Amp. I'm doubting that this is DDay. On the off chance that Sil is telling the truth and just played bad, then we lynch Fener and Amp.

Well, two finder reveals. I don't know, Sil's sounded pretty solid until it came out that she did stuff like voting on a train started by someone she KNEW was scum...that's just not town play. And codes are always convincing, if not proof of anything, so I'm inclined to lean towards trusting Fener at this point. Unfortunately we would have had more time to test these reveals if they had come out sooner, but blame Fener or Sil for that, I suppose.

I won't be around to see the end of day, most likely. I'm making this decision mostly out of reason; I've had this gut paranoia that Fener and Ampelas have been playing me, but throughout the game (in part due to the fact that they've agreed with me in many aspects), they have seemed to been the most transparent and logical about their reasoning when making arguments. People like Korbas and Atrahal have been hiding behind sarcasm, jokes, and outright misrepresentations of the truth, and even if they are town they are playing too scummy for me to believe them. On the other hand, I don't like either finder reveal--you'll find, if you look at my games from way back, that I distrust any finder reveal in general, especially at this stage. However, Fener's has a lot more support and he seems to have supported his reasoning in a way that I can understand / agree with. Meanwhile, Silanah's defense is halfhearted at best, and I thought to myself before I saw Fener's post that it did not jive with the way she approached day 2.

I believe Korbas would be more probable to hit someone on the scum team than voting for either Ampelas or Silanah, since I think that either way he is symping someone, whether he was fake-symping Karosis earlier or otherwise. If I am wrong about my vote here, I would not be surprised if the scum team turned out to be Korbas / Fener / Ampelas. I don't know how experienced most of the players are these days (am I making my alt obvious enough, for those who haven't already figured it out?), but the only other possibility is that Korbas is just new. Otherwise his play is too characteristic of a symp.

However, the reveals have drawn a line, and we have to vote for one or the other in order to test the reveals, lest we arrive at the same stand-off with just less innos left alive to work with.

In short, if Fener and Ampelas are scum, then well played. You earned it. You'll note that I thought you were both PI based on the way you acted on thread a couple days ago, regardless of any paranoia I had/have. I'm rusty, whatever.

If Fener and Ampelas are scum we'll probably see the hammer come in very quickly from the symp and that's game.
