Wow, three votes in less than 10 minutes to put a player at L-2.
I see why you would follow when all dead people are starting a train, but so far we don't know if they have more information than we do.
Since apparently it doesn't matter if Thyr is scum or town (I'm paraphrasing Serc here), could you please explain what exactly you hope to learn from lynching him?

We want to see what happens when we lynch an ex spectre. To see whether they die for good, go back to the spectre subforum, or whatever else could happen. Also, there is always the chance that the dead players know something we don't.

I see, though I don't really feel it. Apart from wild speculation we don't really have something that suggest that he is cult.
And I would find it weird that the dead would have more information as to who is cult than we do. Not when they still have voting power.

I don't want to imply whether Thyrllan is scum or town shouldn't matter. It's more saying it doesn't matter as to what information we may get from lynching him. For example, what happens when a player who has returned from SH is killed? Scum or town, we could hope to learn something.

We could determine, maybe, if we could trust Fener, Kalse, and Eloth. If he is scum, wouldn't we have to think they know certain things and we can trust them. If town, we could learn not to trust them. May be worth testing early on.

I would go for Osseric or Thyrllan FOR NOW. The one possibility I don't want is the random lynch.

Well, that shrieking woman seemed pretty weird anyways - darker skinned than seems possible and dressed in desert robes despite the cold winds that come to Moll from the Stormrider straits? Yup, definitely just a crazy, they thought and went back to huddling in the fetal position.

this is who Tellan is

darker skinned than seems possible woudl suggest Dal Hon/Tiste Andii--not necessaritly Seven Cities.

Votes on Tellan were based off him being the 7C women clinging to the Barbarian. I'm not sure that is the case, and I wrote down as much.

believe it or not, I'm just trying to be useful.

I'm not sure what happens once you lynch me, but given i'm supposed to be a lich, I'm not sure that'll kill me. just throwing it out there.

Why do you think that everyone else in limbo are voting for you?

if I were to guess (and this is based on my previous recollection of the one other TMDI 10+ game that involved mechanics that are loosely similar), they may htink one of them would be next to come back.

I'm not sure if my role offers me any additional protection from the Bahamut. I know my Lord really doesn't like them. But I don't know the extent of my efficacy in helping the rest of you against them.

or they may just be a spiteful lot

Also, Anomandaris, would you restate all your thoughts for choosing Osseric again, please?

If you don't mind.

Thyrllan defended Tellan from Kaschan. Tellan and Osseric defending Thyrllan.

Let's string up one of them. We all know that scum are the ones usually knowing who to lynch, and that's why no one wants to be seen as the head-hunter, but this game having the random lynch on a failed lynch changes things quite a lot.

But I'll let cooler heads prevail. How sure are you Tellan and Osseric about your feelings on Thyrllan being town?

about that question,i'm pretty sure because if Thyr was Cult it would mean 4 votes out of 12 for cult in day2(2 base cult,1 recruit, and ghost returned from death)which is a lot for this early.
but this depends,if thyr returned during night there maybe a chance that CL recruited him.if he returned in the begining of the day i'm sure he is town.
so thyr, can you clarify.(i am too lazy to go read the thread and find out for myself)

What also makes me wary of lynching Thyr is how fast people jumped as soon as the votes of the dead where known. That has the feel of scum who was just waiting to jump onto something with a flimsy case on it.

I am going to hold off for now. There is still quite a bit of time left in the day. I want to see what other players have to say in regards to this mess.

From the CF how as we currently get it we learn nothing about whether Thyr is scum or not, so we cannot determine how much the dead might know.

based on the timestamps, I htink I returned in the begining of Day.

Can you explain how you will find out if you have lynched the Cult or town?this is the second time you have said something similar to this. Do you have an ability that will give you CF?

In short it is that Kaschan comes on and completely ignores that Osseric didn't vote for him. He doesn't even so much as mention him, even though Osseric was the topic of the thread just before Kaschan shows up and that he later analyses the lynch train.
Kaschan also reveals and starts analysing the scenes, which nicely distracts everyone from the whole Osseric thing that was going on.

I think that Kaschan might have been recruited over night and that Osseric is the recruiter.

Perhaps. You still made it sound earlier as if your just a normal townie. Now it seems you're saying you're more. You claim to help us against scum, but what if you're recruited? You claiming immunity from being recruited? If so you would indeed be a valuable ally. But with those 3 dead people unable to refute anything, it's still only possibilities. I sort of believe you, but I can't understand why Eloth, Fener, and Kalse don't trust you. They can't all be cult can they? If we can believe Kaschan, he said there was two cult among us. If those 3 are cult that's 5, possible 6.

They came to a conclusive vote, though. That's what worries me.
remove vote

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for now. Maybe he can help us, but don't want to reveal how for some reason.

I suspect that one of the 3 quick voters (Shelly, Serc, & D'riss) may have the power to wield the votes of the dead in SH to form a voting block

doesn't make sense to me, why would Osseric recruit someone he had just quite visibly not voted for, and could be associated with easily

No. But he came from SH. It's only a theory that he could help provide info. But I've removed my vote. Maybe he can help town somehow.

But you're treating him like you KNOW he's town. How come?

Everyone is scum until proven not scum is how we should approach things. Why give him a pass?

We aren't making stuff up. Fener, Eloth, and Kalse don't trust him. That's more than we have on anyone else.

Who would you lynch, Osseric. I'm definately open for any and all suggestions.

Well, all three votes were on different people originally... I don't know, I don't buy it, and I still think that a Thyrllan lynch will provide the most useful information.

I don't really like Ano's case against Osseric/Kaschan. It's based on lots of speculation, and hopeful of dodgy scum play. I highly doubt scum would so overtly protect each other that way.

That would be a very dangerous ability and most likely game breaking. The more people died the more powerful a person wielding those votes would get. They could become the sole means of lynching someone during end game. I don't think that is a likely ability.

I can come out and say completely baseless accusations too. I suspect that anyone who didn't vote for Thy after seeing all of the dead vote for him of trying to distance themselves from their ability to create a voting block. It is baseless accusations like that allowed for town to keep lynching town after town in the last game and allow for people to set up lynches down the line.

Not that I am disagreeing that there might be that power out their but to limit the possibility to only us is a bit premature. Unless you know something specific. If so please be a dear and inform the rest of the class.

They all voted before us. You seriously don't find it odd? Well fault me for finding it odd. Also a bit of pressure never hurt.

Barg, it's ok and easy to defend people, but who would you like to lynch?
