This vote, the first of the joke votes, AND the fact that Meanas was the first kill is what linked karosis and amp in my mind. Early distancing (voting the partner) and then killing someone who was linked to both Amp and Karosis in the early play. It wouldn't be the first time killers chose a kill like this. Tenuous, but that's why I wanted to see what Amp did before I mentioned him in the case.

Now, I believe that there is a good chance that Eloth is the symp, because if you think about it, his play brilliantly switched the lynch target on Day 1 and then viewing his hissy fits on day 2 it really appears like he was doing his best to egg us on to lynch Korv. Wham, he has just successfully ruined 2 days of lynches for his masters. Now, if you operate under the assumption that Eloth is a symp, I think this next post SCREAMS of signalling. It went unnoticed on day 1, but under scrutiny it looks suspicious.

I found one. I found one. Karosis is a symp. Whooop. Day one signalling. I caught it.

I think Karosis is Eloth's master, and this is the signal. It looks like he's calling Karosis a symp, but in actuality he's simply informing him "Hey, this is day 1 signalling, I'm your symp."



Karosis at the end of the day switched votes from Korv to Korbas, in and of itself not suspicious, but convenient because he doesn't have to worry because either lynch is fine as far as scum is concerned.


What caught my suspicion was this post at the beginning of Day 2.

If we want to analazye how scum might play, I would say that scum are more likely to consider in advance what might make them look suspicious, and try to appear helpful by heading off that line of thought before they actually might have to respond to accusation. This is scum play speculation, based on motive, not just strategy.


So in summary, I think Eloth is a symp and Karosis is one of his masters.

All I can say in response to this is that you're wrong. I truly was just letting you know that I had nothing to do with the Meanas kill. Anyone who paid any attention to my day 1 play would see that I voted for nearly everyone. I ended up hammering, but we were like an hour away from end of Day, I did not want to leave it to chance, and there hadn't been any activity on thread for like an hour. Meanas and I had a disagreement, but it would have been all kinds of dumb for me to NK him after that.

If you go back and actually read the thread, you'll see that I was not retconning. I was angry that Korv self-voted, but I thought he had put himself at L-2, and then that Anthras had put him at L-1, and removed vote. I wanted to put Korv back at L-1, as people who self-vote ruin the game, it's poor sportsmanship, which is basically the same thing I gave Meanas shit for on Day 1. My behaviour, as far as I am concerned, has been consistent throughout the game. I think if I were scum, or even symp, my gameplay would have been nowhere near as abrasive, or vocal.

Given my case yesterday, which is only reinforced by the Ampelas quote above, well, I still strongly beleive that Ampelas is scum, thus...

Listen, all I can say to this is that I lost my temper - it bugs me when people self-vote, I feel like it's poor sportsmanship to join a game, then rage quite cause you're 'sick of defending yourself'. Korv was likely going to get lynched anyway, so there was no need for him to self-vote. It not only robbed us of seeing who a true hammer was (cause I would certainly not have jumped on that train otherwise, I was very much gunning for Ampelas yesterday), the lynch could have, unlikely as it was, potentially gone another way in the remaining six hours.

I am not surprised to have attracted a couple of votes, heck, I expected it after the above mix-up. But it surprises me how quickly Amp went from a 'lynch Omtose' to a 'follow Omtose on a lynch train' attitude. Fener also piled onto my train fairly quickly. I think at least one of your two scum are among those three, if not both.

Basing any opinion on my joke votes on Day 1 is a waste of time. I started the day out saying I would try to vote for every single person during Day 1. I didn't quite get to everyone, but I made a good run of it. I started playing seriously in the post where I specifically said 'I guess it's time to start playing seriously' and from that point on, everything I said and did was for a reason.

If that were the case, there would almost certainly have been two night kills in night 1. That there weren't suggests that even though there are two killers, they have to decide on a single target via signalling in the thread. Or maybe it's whoever PMs PS first. I need to have another read through. I'm not convinced of this case on Karosis, especially how he now has 4 votes out of 6 with over 24 hours to go. We lynched Korv because we thought Eloth could have been his symp, and for other reasons. Now today we are going to lynch Karosis because we think Eloth is his symp and other reasons. For me the only constant in the two cases is Eloth. We keep thinking Eloth is a symp but he has not tried to deflect away from Karosis at all, or provide an alternative. If Eloth was a killer we'd be playing into his hands at the moment. Killing off another town will he tries again at night.

I could see Amp as a possible partner as his play has definately changed. He admitted (I think) to low posting or being a low poster on day one and some of day two and now his activity has hiked and his cases seem strong. Omtose has been attacked or accused by one or two players over the course of the game and his case looks okay but I think Karosis could be a symp with his play compared to Eloth and Amp's play. (mentioning Omtose here because he might feel the need to provide an alternative to himself as Amp was looking at him yesterday, setting him up for today).

In fact looking at what people have said Karosis does stand out as a symp, I don't think scum would have hammered like he did with over an hour to go.

Their are two killers in the game thus a guard wouldn't do shit. A guard can only guard one person at a time. Leaving the other to kill. The only possible reason that their wasn't a kill had to have been due to a heal.

If that were the case, there would almost certainly have been two night kills in night 1. That there weren't suggests that even though there are two killers, they have to decide on a single target via signalling in the thread. Or maybe it's whoever PMs PS first. In fact -- though I might be getting this confused with another game -- I thought this had actually been stated outright.

JESUS fucking christ. Is this your first fucking paired killer game. The killers share a fucking kill between them. Thus a guard can't do shit until one of the killers is dead. So the only way that there wasn't a kill was due to a healer. The killers can either talk off thread (easiest way) or communicate via PS.
