I think Batman, (I haven't played the game but watched all the movies (I think)), would have night protection. He is hard to kill in all the films and he operates mostly at night. In the day he is more vulnerable imo. I think game balance wise it'd be hard for us to night kill BM but easy to lynch him. Whereas he is the quickest way to kill the CL's. I agree that town receiving gifts is a good way to balance the game out.

Considering the *actual* Predator had it's main defence as camoflague, not body armour, this is a good point. While we tend to think of Predator roles as being LP/BP behemoths, that's more of a quirk of the way the first one was run. An invisible killer is more of a 'true' Predator than a juggernaut-esque variant. Of course, that doesn't really say anything about this iteration. I'm not willing to discount the possibility of BPs being involved, yet, simply because the CLs apparently take multiple lynches and/or lynch-and-vig combos to bring them down. This implies to me that CLs are not meant to be lynched by town...so therefore perhaps the Batman is not meant to be NK'd. 'Course, he could just be a glass canon, as finding a not-FM alt-jumper is a fucking prick in and of itself!

I would let you know (before I even bothered to check with PS) if there was any other reason, first clause or otherwise, for my lack of death/BP loss. If it was because of THAT reason, it would hardly be in my best interests to let two people who are not likely to be the Batman take a fall today, would it?
Unless Spite or Telas pulled their action, were guarded, or I was healed or otherwise protected...I can't see any other options than that one of them is the Batman, can you? So we really need other players to come forward if that was the case, because the logic is otherwise sound. And hasn't Telas been partially cleared by the claim via PS-message, just btw? I'll go find it and re-quote for context...

I'm checking in on my phone, but I have zero time to post this weekend... I think that there are a few possibilities, as I am not batman and I believe Telas isn't either.
A: we were (1 of us) guarded
I think this is most likely. I think that it would be in a CLs interests to stop the narrowing down of suspects for CL. If they can guard, that seems likely. If BM can guard, he could have easily framed us in order to get more time to kill off the CLs.
B: Galain was healed. Townie wanting to save another townie is possible (it would have to be a roled townie though... There's no heal action available in the cache...
C: galain is lying to get one of us lynched. This is the theory where he is BM

I'll hold off plopping down a vote for now, however, as I'm not sure we've quite heard from everyone, we're in the middle of a weekend freeze with 24 hours on the clock, and I'd rather we didn't rush to night just because we're *mostly* agreed on the course of action. Time can reveal other factors we hadn't considered, and I'd rather play with time on our side than not.

Now, as anyone who has received one of these gifts knows, you cannot use the items the same night you acquire them. So where Spite says he picked the body armour night 3, then says he was attacked last night (also "night 3"), and lost that BP...the math doesn't stack, does it? An easy mistake to make, of course, but also stood out to me.
