I'm here again and caught up. Seems to me that the biggest discussion has been on the "Slip" by Korvalain, which, when you actually look at it, isn't very incriminating, and the mysterious messages from recruiters(Here are my thoughts on those)
Message 1: Seems like a recruiter trying to seem powerful by showing what they can do.
Message 2: Seems like a recruiter responding to the first recruiter's message by trying to seem powerful.

Hmmm, so Eloth and Korvalain make references to Dragonsecks, and Sheltatha and Spite both chime in once or twice about it, but I think the above post is more likely trying to throw some suspicion on them rather than tying to them... Osseric and Galain both disparaged Dragonsecks, so I'm thinking one of them is the recruiter, or, again, someone's trying to divert attention.

Ah, I would not have picked up on that, but I guess it does make sense. The message just still seems worded oddly. It would seem like the villains would be trying to hide from Batman, not flush him out into the open. A Batman lynch is good for them (although he could have an LP), but basically asking everyone on thread to reveal who Batman is doesn't seem to make sense from the cult recruiters' point of view. Except for the fact that obviously they don't want to target him for a recruit, but the odds of that are so low on day one it's not worth discussing.

16 out of 22 people have checked in so far. So we have at this point a 3/16 chance of hitting a recruiter out of those who've checked in or a 1 in 6 out of those who haven't. Although the Joker could just be waiting before his broadcast. Fail.

I do think there is a higher chance that those that have posted broadcasts would be playing the game already though as they'd have to fit in amongst us somehow. What are other peoples thoughts on this?

Sorry for the harsh reaction... it just bothers me that you pointed that out when I was using it to support my suspicion. I assumed when other townies saw what I saw, they would feel the same way, but evidently I was wrong.

I figured it was in response to me - all I have to say is that it would be easy to state that you're a townie if you're not, and you're making big assumptions that all townies received the exact same role PM. The OP doesn't say anything about recruiters being able to do anything besides recruiting. I think it's safe to assume that there are more abilities than just the recruit (and the PS broadcasts), but it could be possible that some townies get different abilities if/when they get recruited, thus adding to a faction's powerbase as it grows. I don't know, just speculating on possible roles. I can't wait for day 2-3 when we start seeing just what certain people/roles are capable of.

For now I'm betting Batman is going to be trying to keep a low profile while keeping a moderate post count, so I'm looking at people who haven't really added much to the conversation, but who are participating. Right now, my favourite for BM is Omtose, but that should by no means be taken as an accusation, it's simply a gut feeling based on the quality of his posts.

Underwear outside my pants just isn't my style. I find Rashan's on thread speculation interesting. Rashan would be a great alt for BM. Or maybe he's offerring himself up to get recruited by Two-Face.
