I think the Joker is around because the broadcast was done with good timing for my speculation about the broadcasts and my comment on waiting on the Joker. I can see your reasoning, but really, isn't that just a teensy bit obvious? If I were the Joker, I'd have to be an idiot to betray it by masking a name that I wasn't allowed to reveal rather than just substituting another name. I mean, the Joker's meant to have some brains, right?

You don't find it suspicious that he knew exactly the code thing right after it was posted?

If he put in another name, we'd know he was lying, and we wouldn't get rid of batman.

Suggestive, but not conclusive. After all, if I could decrypt so quickly, so could anyone else. Don't know why he decided to make the name public, though, and we have no guarantee that Joker's gonna tell us the real name rather than get rid of potential rivals early on.

You can't play like you want to be recruited. The town isn't JUST a recruiting pool in this game, according to Mentalist. Goddammit, if you're town play for your team. Play like you're going to be town the whole time. If you get recruited, THEN you can play like that.

It's not picking teams, we're trying to win as a town.

On top of that, Batman has 4 lives. NKs or lynches, he has 4 lives. That means 4 nights for cultists to recruit, if we get him every day. That means 16 people. That means town loss.
