22 named roles (6x3 for human factions and 4 unfactioned humans) and 24 people signed up, with 32 alts. It seems to me that the obvious conclusion we can draw is that the zombies have 1 main alt and 4 'alt-alts' each, for a total of 5 alts controlled by a single person. If each zombie is worth 1 DR, that would allow them to currently Kill anyone in the game except the leaders of each faction, but only recruit a smaller number of people. I consider that the current WCS for non-zombies. If JLV left out one or two of the random unaffiliated players, the zombie's efficiency goes way down, unless they can talk to each other (which I doubt). Of course if you REALLY want to start speculating, you could also think that the 'Survivor' role might have more than one alt as well, since it is listed as 'very time consuming' whereas the Zombie roles are not... or it could be a FM if you want to get really paranoid.

Zombies are a threat to everyone else in the game, whereas the other factions/people are not, per say, a threat to each other. Of course I don't know everyones' VCs so I might be off on that.

@Serc- it is still unclear, though there were several mechanic related theories on thread earlier. Though I am of the opinion that one player controls a zombie block, with potential SH helpers to post in the several alts, but ultimately the player will choose the NA, not the mod. So if each Zom-boss (go with it, it's fun and easy!) controls 4 zombies, they would be able to overwhelm anyone with a DR of 3 now, and recruit anyone less than DR of 2 (ie. any independent or 4/6ths of the human factions). For the people saying they do not see the undead threat, it is there. This game is going to be a blood-bath...

I think you're onto something. These mechanics you're suggesting would help fill some holes in our theories and would enable the attacks to work in a defined way. But there's not enough zombies, seemingly, to do enough damage as is, so there must be some kind of system for them growing in numbers.
I mean if we all chose not to Lynch anyone ever would that mean we need not fear zombies? But then no one would ever win.
They're gonna get some of US somehow but I'm hoping we do have some chance in these attacks. Although I'm guessing the first couple attacks might be unavoidable.
I suggest we keep the right people alive at least at first.

And who, pray tell, are the right people? Also, the zombies are most likely able to recruit right away, especially if they are hitting one of the lower DR roles. How would zombie attacks be 'unavoidable'? Why do you think there isn't enough Zombies to do 'damage'? Why are you trying to downplay the Zombies (which are cults)?

Who knows who are the right people. No one does yet. The question is would it bother you if we figured it out? Would it make your role harder? And I already explained this in an above post, but I never meant to imply they would be avoidable. Only survivable.
Sorry for the confusion.

Then why the fuck would you say 'I suggest we keep the right people alive at least at first'? Who are the right people? I'm not asking for Alts, I'm asking for you to go look at the beginning of the thread, where there is a role list. Who do you consider 'the right people'? I'm going to guess the faction leader, the ones that add +1 DR to their factions, and the faction killers, right? Fabulous. Now show me the 12 alts that make up that list and I promise not to vote for any of them.

I dont know who the right people are. I dont know why you care if I spin my wheels attempting to get people to explain either obvious or speculated things. Or if I mention attempting the impossible.
But THANK YOU. I can't tell you exactly what for yet, but thank you. FINALLY.

And have you not seen just how many people keep asking and wondering the same exact things? Hell, even on page one youve got people PLURAL asking how many zombies there are, others saying theres obviously not enough. Seems like those people will just become Zombie Fodder. Your concern for what I seem to know or dont know is interesting though.

And as for downplaying the danger of the zombies, well sinse its obvious they're here for a purpose, you wanting to make sure we are appropriately scared seems odd.

Did you just claim that being afraid of what could be 2 cults with 5 members that are all controlled by one person is 'odd', or do you want to go ahead and attempt to back peddle and clarify some more?

No. You clarified. I apologized for misunderstanding certain information, and for not being clear in my own.

But you did make one mistake, which someone with your obvious experience in the game shouldnt have made.

Please, call me out if you think you know my roll and it would be advantageous for your roll to do so, instead of the bullshit you are spewing now.

Your mistake: Expecting so much from Day 1.

Just wanted to see if you'd respond so defensively. You're very high strung. Are you craving human flesh perhaps? Brains?

Liver with a side a fave beans?

Do I even need to make a slurping sounds?

Yup, I _must_ be a zombie because you are downplaying zombies and I'm saying that the cult is scary, and is always scary, especially when they are starting in what seems like a powerful role. Shovel more bullshit, some might stick, eventually.

Edit: Fixed spelling.

I'm not downplaying the zombies. I've clarified that 3 times now. I even admitted to my mistakes in confusion. And I did think that perhaps they might have had to recruit before reaching truely dangerous levels. Again you clarified. We can now all agree that your army of zombies are starting at full power right away.

Im guessing Ill be the first meal?

Look Mom, more WIFOM! This way if you don't die at night, you can say it is because you called me out. And if you do die at night, any team you might have can then claim I'm a zombie because you died. But what if you are recruited? Then we will never know!

Your confusing of the thread with bullshit and WIFOM is boring and poor play.

Of course this is all assuming you are not a Zombie.

Of course, if you are a Zombie and die at night, other zombies can then claim that I'm a zombie because I've been going after you as a way of covering both alts in case either one dies.

Hooray for WIFOM!

Golfclap for Serc and his farting avatar.

I think Serc would be the best lynch target today, but I'll be back before time out in case my vote is needed somewhere else.

Later!

There is another possibility.

Mkay, so looking at the people Sorrit pointed out; Telas, Fener, Korvalain and Silanah in the first group and Telas, Olar Ethil, Ruse, Osseric and Eloth in the second.

Ruse actually signed in several hours before the post that was quoted.
Telas, Korvalain and Silanah have had significantly more posts than the others, although their contrbutions tend to be one to two lines. They have all contributed to the discussions about mechanics and suspicious behaviour.
Osseric has had relatively few posts, but what he has said tends to be much longer, a paragraph or two rather than a few lines.
The ones I see as suspicious: Fener, Olar Ethil, Eloth and to a lesser extent, Ruse. None of these players has contributed anything to the discussion going on. While low posting is not unusual, what does stand out is that Olar and Eloth were signing in and Ruse was signing out around the same time.

Also, there are still be a bunch of people we haven't heard from yet.

There are 24 players playing this game and I don't think patterns like this will be spotted day one. Sorrit looks like he is defending by throwing 4 or 5 names out there and see which one will stick. Now earlier on the play between Galain and Sorrit was a bit off, and I don't think Galain has come back since. However, you do seem to be agreeable with Sorrit. You are even looking over the people he mentioned to see which one would be the better option for the lynch. Now personally I have liked quite a few of your posts but I do feel that you and Sorrit could be the same player. Galain as another understudy. I'll be around later after tea, but for now

Vote Tulas Shorn

I could change to Sorrit because something wasn't right with him at the beginning of the game, the way Galain looked to have defended him and his rant about always looking scummy and being a martyr.

I think Sorrit and Tulas are the same player. I'd rather people have a choice out of the two than pile all votes on Sorrit although i'd be willing to switch.
