If you think it's number 2 then you would have to ignore the fact that the first person to try to recruit him dies. Because the only person who has died unexpectedly is Sorrit, and he wasn't a recruiter.

And Serc claimed that he vigged Sorrit, but we haven't had any other vigs which is what I was expecting. I figured that there would be at least one other player with a vig to balance the fact that there was more than one scum recruiter, so potentially Serc could have lied about that to get us to CI him.

At the risk of simplifying this too situation too much, it feels very much like what Rashan was trying to do.

Well I was thinking Serc, but SIlanah of the mysterious unexplained/able information has stopped that line of thought. I think.
I'm not sure, no one was getting much in the way of pressure. Like I've said before, I really don't know what to make of Tellen. I mean, I've vaguely noted that Tellen and Tennes seem to be connected, but that's probably because they've both been low posting through the game.

Hey all, back and around again and caught up.

So we have a Finder reveal now as well? It does seem believable but this isn't the first time we had something like this happen.

The problem I have is I'm not convinced Barghast is the Ouchi recruiter looking at the trains, he was early on Ruse and first on D'riss, so I'm not convinced Tellan is telling the truth. On the other hand, why would he come out of nowhere with it? Its a weird play to pull if he was lying.

I guess we either a) Vote Tellan and test his CF and see if he's lying if he's town we can happily lynch Barghast and hopefully win. If he's lying then we have obviously hit scum in Tellan.
or Believe Tellan and vote Barghast thus saving our Finder and if Barghast is inno or just a recruit we can lynch Tellan for lying.

Either way one of the next two lynches would be a lynch of scum, but I still have no idea when D-Day actually is if we can afford two days or not. Looking at the numbers perhaps we do as Ouchi have lost what, 3 recruits already definitly and 4 if we believe Rashan started out Ouchi but that seems less likely as he half lied about D'riss.

Really? If we lynch Tellan and he's not lying we can then happily lynch you and he clears, myself, Gamelon and Serc since he's done finds on us already. If he's lying we lynch scum.
If we lynch you we get scum in lynching you if he's telling us the truth, or we lynch scum in Tellan if you come up inno or recruit.

The only downside I can see is if its D-day, but we already have removed one cult and Ouchi is down 3 recruits meaning they'd have to be 4 strong currently to win. And they'd have to have 7 in total over the course of the game which seems unlikely as Ikko only managed 3.

Well, since I know i'm not a recruiter, I have few doubts we'd be lynching a recruit if we go for Tellan. i'ts just that I'd like to get his master instead.

I'd agree with you there, but I'd change the list to Tennes, Mockra, Okaros. In that order.
I keep forgetting Tennes is playing and that worries me a lot.

heh. TEnnes went off, promising to build a case over the weekend, on Okaros, I believe.

He also did a lot of pushing on Kalse+Korvy. And generally, he's been making sense. I'm vary of him, but he's less of an unknown.

Well picking the recruiter at this point is the trick. I know I'm not, so Tellan coming out of the blue makes no sense to me, which makes me think it could be you as can't think why he'd lie so he's telling the truth.

Of course Barghest you could say its distractiing from me since I had those 2 votes etc. But really that case wasn't going anywhere and you know it, so I am surprised you even voted. You yourself had to get it confirmed from the Mod if it was his name or cult, so i dont' understand how you'd think its a slip, if I was his recruiter I would know he was in my cult and not imagine up a whole new cult which everyone else could see was in fact, I am a terrible reader. I'm still stunned my mind completely skipped the stuff in the brackets.

If I had to pick at this point, I'd probably vote Barghast/Tellan and then probably my next 3 are Gamelon, Tennes and Okaros not sure in what order.

having a quick look back, Serc was under some pressure to explain himself after jumping on mockras mistake. all he really says about it is 'whatever'.
