I'm guessing this lynch might be a little controversial or otherwise someone should have run it by now??

Half life 1 any good? I've got both of them, just haven't got around to playing them been meaning to for ages. I haven't played any games for ages, outside a little Diablo 3 which I found to be more enjoyable than Diablo.

It's a solid shooter. puzzles make you think.

enemies aren't as bad as system Shock, which is to say the game's pretty fair, despite occasional unexpected spawns.

the settings are pretty cool, too.

I wonder if there is a way we could summon him. Like a ritual. Or a chant. Or some kind of animal sacrifice.

S-A-F-E-T-Y Dance. Dance.

You can dance if you want to.
You can leave your lynch behind.
But your friends don't dance and if they don't dance,
Well there's no resolve in line.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

It is Day 8.

A lynch has occurred.

12 players are left alive:
Barghast, D'riss, Gamelon, Korvalain, Mockra, Okaros, Omtose, Rashan, Serc, Silanah, Tellan, Tennes

7 votes to lynch, 7 to go to night.

1 vote D'riss: Rashan
4 votes Rashan: Omtose, Korvalain, Silanah, Serc
7 votes Korvalain: D'riss, Okaros, Gamelon, Tennes, Mockra, Barghast, Tellan

Players not voting: None

The buddhist monk had been begging outside of the imperial grounds for several weeks. He was there every day, from slightly past breakfast until just before sunset. Through conversations with each other, several members of the imperial household realized that Sadaijin (Kalse) had often been seen talking with that monk, and at other times dropping a coin or two into his begging bowl. Where he had gotten the coins, was a matter for speculation at the time. A group of them decided to confront the monk, and find out what he and Sadaijin had been talking about.

One of them asked his friend, a monk of the Jomon sect to accompany them while they talked to the beggar. The beggar monk viewed them calmly as they surrounded him. Before any of them had a chance to ask a question though, the Jomon sect monk hissed, "Look at the callouses on his hands, and those powerful looking arms. He's no ordinary monk."

The beggar monk smiled, and said "I would be happy to flog myself and ask for forgiveness. You cannot possibly harm me as much as I can harm myself." The ministers muttered to themselves. None of them had the martial training to possibly stand up to a warrior monk. They asked him if he would cease his operations within their compound. The beggar bowed, and vowed he would never return to trouble them again.

Korvalain (twelve) has been lynched. He was a warrior monk of the Ikko-Ikki and a source of illicit bribes within the imperial court.

Awesome so thats one recruiter gone! And I guess one remaining.

I can't think of any reason not to vote D'riss today and test out Rashans claim. So

Vote D'riss

That's great. I'm not shocked but it's wonderful news nonetheless. All my hard work paid off. I bet Korvalian is angry with Kalse' reveal B)

Vote Rashan

I don't want to believe him until I see his CF, D'riss has played town like in my notes and I don't see him being the recruiter but then again I've been so focused on Kalse/Korvalian since Friday I might need a proper read through before being certain.

Serc and Omtose must be connected to Korvalian leaving the other recruiter on the Korvalian train unless it is Rashan. Rashan implicates D'riss and no one has mentioned Gamelon. I think if Rashan comes up Ikki Ikki that we have to lynch D'riss. Unless you want to test Rashan' reveal and lynch D'riss today?

Well I guess the safer play would be to lynch Rashan today and see what he comes up with and presume we have the extra time now we got rid of main threat which was the Ikko Ikki recruiter. The Rashan lynch probably isn't quite as needed as the cult numbers don't needed to be evened and we could possibly win with a D'riss lynch and end the game. However if you think Rashan is up to something with his reveal, then we can test that out lynch him, if he comes up Ikko Ikki we can lynch D'riss and hopefully that will be the end of the game.

Thats my take on it at least, and unless something else comes up its definitly going to be one of those two. Maybe we should go Rashan just in case he was up to something weird and cover our bases?

This actually makes sense. I'd like to hear from a few more people first but i'd be willing to Vote D'riss. If we lynch both recruiters does that mean town would win the game? Or would we have to vote one of Ikki then one of remaining Ouchi and back and forth using Silanah to help us cleanse ourselves of cult when numbers get low
