If I get the time today i'll try and look more into Korv. The lynch trains were posted for me rather than hunting through to find them. Make of them what you will. (Maybe you'll find something I didn't.)
^ Reason I voted Ruse is because people will think he is being defended, that if we lynch elsewhere today it will be a distraction for tomorrow. I have no affiliation to Ruse yet I do not believe him to be a recruiter. Recruited yes otherwise I certainly wouldn't vote him off.

Erm, Tennes, day hasn't started yet. We have 23 odd hours to go... And that's literally a scroll up the page to check...
Looking back though over the last few pages the discussion has been between Barghast and Ruse. By bringing in a new candidate it messes with our heads. People find these two to be scummy so there has to be some merit in what they are saying. Maybe i'm blinded by looking for Atrahal's leader and not who is cult. Ruse or Barghast could be an unrelated cult for all I know.

I'd hope recruits don't know each other, else this game would be very much unbalenced in favour of scum! In any case, both Lio and Emur were inno, so why would Atrahal and Ruse want to swing the train either way? The way they were playing seems like a horrifically blatant way to play if Ruse is the recruiter.
I'm feeling the same about this blowing up. At least with killer scum games you have a good idea of when D-Day is.
To be honest, his defence makes me want to lynch him, and if this were early game I would be perfectly happy to. I fucking hate self voting.

Well lots of reasons as to why the swung it.. if they even did, my two favorites being they knew we had to lynch Liosan after Emurlahn and waste two days while they could happily recruit knowing that there necks were not going to be on the line and could pick a recruit safely knowing they won't be lynched the next day. And having two innos gone a couple more of their sides and enough finger pointing in various directions they could get away with it. And almost did in fact as Omtose could easily have been lynched and not Atrahal.
Or Atrahal was left hanging out there and Ruse thought better move and make it not so weird and didn't antcipate that it would swing quite like that as everyone jumped aboard.
I don't particularly like the self vote either, its not a foregone conclusion and I hate it when people give in.
I kinda think Tennes is right though, if we don't lynch Ruse and the next person isn't Atrahal's recruiter, we are going to keep going back to Ruse.

I don't know, you tell me?
I think the fact that you included people who didn't vote for you, then took out someone that didn't and not the others. Am I really the only person who thinks this is a bit odd? (Aside from Barghast
because i was mistaken about who voted me...simple really.
like i said...i put in one name and meant to put in serc...so corrected the one mistake i KNEW to be wrong.
Im working here and playing and never claimed to be 100% correct.
i could have sworn i had at least ONE of the "o" names vote for me at least once this game...i dont have time to go back and check all the votes. i barely have any time to play as it is.
So if you want to lynch me for overstating my position when i was getting understated at the same time by barghast then go ahead.
not like the one is any worse than the other. Barghast was saying 3 votes...is that any better?
I'm just curious, that's all. I'm not in a hurry to lynch you, I'm not convinced you're a recruiter and there's still plenty of time in the day.
I think it's highly probably that you've been recruited though, and a tendecy to accidently point to one's master instead of someone else when you're scum has been noted before.
Isn't the case on Ruse he is Atrahals recruiter? Due to his reaction to the Atrahal lynch etc and that way the train swung from Liosan to Emurlahn with Atrahal and Ruse being the two that really got that happening. I'm not sure the recruits know each other so if Atrahal makes a move only the recruiter can follow and hope the rest of the recruits follow suit.
At this stage of the game we got to be targetting recruiters and not just recruits. Whats annoying is, I am starting to believe Ruse isn't a recruiter either at this point, I'm starting to find his defence believable and I'm getting a sinking feeling this might blow up in our faces.
If this is the case, this is retarded. We really haven't had a better case than someone who was on the swing part of a lynch train when both possible lynches were innocent?

These are just little tidbits for now I cannot be sure whether I have the time to make a full case.

My profusiest of apologies for my lack of posting after the first one, but my calligraphy pen broke and I was unable to write more communiques until after it had been put back together. Right now, I will read up all these various messages which have reached us in the meantime.
With this response Korv may have spotted a potential recruit. Later on, just before he is lynched he mentions that his speciality is poetry, maybe to implicate Ruse or distance from Korvalian.

Korvalain has also pinged my radar with his post saying he was ready to "whore himself out" (post #51)
I will be back in time for a vote. For now I will wait.
I think you mean post #42 (at least, that's what it says on my view), which is this:
Korvalain, on 13 March 2012 - 02:37 PM, said:
Well I guess I could whore myself out to earn a few extra bucks. Earn me a nice new cushion to sit on to make all this artsy stuff to sell.
So Omtose, why does this ping your radar? What could it mean in your opinion? A minister who's looking to be recruited? I can see that later in the game when it might look like town won't win, and some townies (scoundrel players) might be looking to switch to what they perceive to be a winning side, but on day 1 I don't see it.
I actually quite like the Karosis case - it's exactly the kind of thing I'd normally vote on on day 1 if I hadn't already made my own thing
Another reason he may have recruited him is because he seemed to do a good job of rubbishing Omtose case day one.

I'm in a seminar all day so I can't do much. I agree with Rashan, and I think it's odd that everyone is avoiding Okaros, particularly Barghast for his comment when he was L2.
Can't quote right now but it was basically "everyone says they'd vote Okaros but no one does". Made me wonder why he didn't want to put a test vote out there to see if he could try and save himself. Anyways, they may all be scum, but I don't want to vote where we may take down an inno. I suspect we are running out of them.

You said the same about Ruse. In fact you keep saying similar things. You were saying them about Tellan as well a few days back. It's lazy, rather than look for connections or build a case your just basically creating a post that says, "well people have mentioned this player a lot but nothing has happened so vote this player". By my estimate near enough every single player finds Rashan scummy yet no one is voting for him. So he must be scum.

My point being is that I see the case on Ruse even if I don't believe in it. I can vote off Okaros and Ruse and whoever else was on the Omtose train including myself but I think it is lazy trying to go off one train rather than analyse the posts and interactions throughout the game. That is the reason I don't think I can build a Korvalian case right now because there just isn't enough time to look at his interactions in much detail.

I can vote for Okaros because I have absolutely no read on him. He has stayed or should I say she has stayed well behind the scenes and could easily be a low posting cultist but I am doubtful.
