Yeah, I was thinking about it and really what stands out about those three (Anthras, Thyr, and Tiam) in addition to Merrid I might add, is the overreactions. The first is Anthras. While he doesn't scream or yell, he does get huffy about voting based on past games and voting for those not yet posted. This is really odd considering the vote was a joke, but Anthras really doesn't seem to really comment on his outburst later, despite it being the foundation of suspicions against him. I would hear more explanation from him, since as you stated, he really doesn't give much more of substance after that vote except to quickly defend his vote in 1-2 posts later on.

Hmmm I sense a pattern. Or it may be Okaros just trying to throw people off his scent. Hence
vot Okaros

Its mainly due to the point that he is automatically assuming that as someone was scum in previous games they will be in this one too. Not only that I think that its below the belt voting for someone who cant yet defend themselves.

This is another one I would have your thoughts on Korabas. Merrid has tweaked my scumdar for a while now. The heart of my suspicion is this overreaction to prodding by Thyr. What's curious is that Merrid only had one vote on him and Tiam actually went out of his way to defend Merrid, softening his approach with a clever little pun.

checking in! and I see the dragon secks has beena bit of a fizzer. is it srs time already?
wow i was just thinking about you i was going to vote you randomly out of the ones alkend just listed but then i had a think about it and decided to give you another 12 hours or so
wow what kind of signaling is this?
that it's the stupidest signalling case I've ever seen. might as well accuse you of signalling with your 'pardner'comment!
I can make a stupider one for you, don't test me
do it then. all you will show is that you can pull cases out your butt.if it's a stupid case you won't convince anyone I'm scum, you will just destroy your own credibility

Ugh, ok, maybe I overreacted a little. I got lynched for the dumbest reasons last time I played. However, there was nothing to indicate that your second comment was sarcastic, and in a game filled with newbies I'm not sure what to expect and how much to take seriously.
On to the Okaros case. I'm wondering if Okaros actually read the case that Tiam made on him. The point of Tiam's case, if I'm reading it rght, is that Okaros stands out because in several posts he emphasises his noobishness, but then also seems to have a fair amount of knowledge about game play and people's styles. And Tiam clearly MUST remember Okaros' vote, as it's quoted in her case.
Okaros' original reply, the one quoted by Alkend, is also pinging my scum radar. It mentions Tiam's case but makes no reply to it, and accuses Tiam of being a symp. So from what I can see, Okaros' main defence is that people targeting him must be scum, because they are targeting him to deflect away from other people. I don't buy this.
Vote Okaros
And of course, Tiam naturally follows on this review of overreactions. Tiam's obsession (as you put it Korabas) with lynching Okaros bordered on crazy imho. I understand defending one's case, plugging holes people poke in it, but Okaros, in addition to fighting for his case, seems to ignore most of the other activity around him (which is why it was strange he brought up Merrid).

Why does faking being a newbie make one vote worthy? We have others who are going for a newb appearance (like Anthras with asking how to bold) and one person who is announcing himself as a Vet (GL).
Nah, I think a person trying to blend in looks more like Thyr, lots of posting, voting once and promptly removing his vote, helpfully responding when ever he can (conversing about multiquoting, and the all-telling asking a lot of questions), or and throwing out suspicions left and right like candy without laying down a case or long standing vote.
I mean, who do you think we should vote for Thyr?
Vote Thyr
Fair enough, rather than see the reaction of Okaros and his defense you post his defense instead, this looks like symping and moving onto someone else. Thyr could be scum, so could merrid, yourself, anthras for that matter to me your all scum until proven otherwise. What makes you so sure Okaros isn't? I can see most of us wanting to blend in, post a lot and make it hard for scum to lie low it is early in day one, that sort of case or vote would be more important or more strong if we were a few days in.
The people you mentioned are playing a certain way but they ahven't slipped up whereas Okaros has, his posts have pinged my radar and hence my case and vote. You my friend haven't even made a case, nor have you posted any of Thyr's posts and it DOES look like you are trying to deflect from Okaros
And finally Thyrllan. Again, we have a situation where there are few votes on the suspect, and yet he acts as though the whole thread is coming down on him. He attempts a couple of defenses and gets huffy when they don't satisfy the public. But really, other than this, I would refer you back to my comments on Thyr (conveniently located in the quote for Tiam).

You come from nowhere with this? Have you posted before in this game? The vote did its job of getting a response, perfectly legit move. This is a tired case you pull out, man. Would you prefer to dragonsex?
I didn;t even vote for you yet
So far the Tiam/Merrid & Okaros things are on top of the stemaing pile
So I agree with your initial thoughts here Korabas. I would like to point out, though, that as we saw with Okaros, townies are more than capable of sputtering with rage and that criteria alone should lead us to ask why they were so defensive. Of the four above, I think only Merrid has really explained his outburst, but I keep him on my suspicion list because of his interaction with Tiam and his defensiveness around people linking him with Tiam.
