Scummy. ^

Wrong. Notice I made a question. I didn't use the word "else" to imply that I thought that we should. At the time, we were spinning the wheels. I was looking to see what people were thinking. People, like Kara for example, remark that I ask questions. That's how I find things out, responses to questions contain info we can use. I can see you calling this scummy (3 times no less) if I were lobbying for a no lynch, or night or whatever.

Why even suggest this though? By asking a question you put the idea in people minds. As a few of the players are new they may be persuaded to do this. If not you still get the thread thinking about this as a possibility. It shouldn't cross your mind to do it yet it did and that thinking is scummy.

I disagree and I would have argued against it had anyone tried to move in that direction. Give the collective some credit.

What are your thoughts on what Korabas and Kara have to say?

@Tiam, buddying up? I could as the same of the interactions between you and Merrid, esp. since the last post interaction, you fixed your grammar for him but said little else about his commentary on GL. I continue to wonder what makes you so narrow focused.

So my interaction with Korabas. Korabas was having a conniption fit. We weren't getting all that much out of him and frankly, he was too focused on the reveal and repercussions to contribute much (which is a little too sensitive and dramatic on his part I agree). Now instead of riling him up, I felt it would be more helpful to have him contribute his thoughts and I'll have you note that I didn't try to lead him around with "what do you think about him" or "do you have any thoughts on this." I asked him why anthras, doing the same thing to his case as I did to yours Tiam, and told him to buck up. And now we are getting more ideas from him, which is something we need from someone we currently trust.

I know that the Veterans often consider mafia to be a screaming match of spam with some cool iron thinking thrown in at appropriate times, however, there are more than one way to address a problem. You Tiam would do well to consider this. Talk about more of the ideas put forth and pull your head from your ass. The view is better out here.

Until you prove to me that you are lovers, I think its likely you're killer and symp. If you prove it, it is possible that you are both town, but Tiam has a point in that we can't afford to give you both a free pass for the rest of the game. You could be paired killers or paired symps. If your a townie you blew it by my thinking.

Actually, I don't think that's quite what Tiam said:

Okay say i'm wrong about you and you are town. Say Korabas isn't lying and him and Okaros are town lovers.

That leaves 9 players left (just looked again at the OP there are 13 players playing).

Alkend, Anthras, Atrahal, Barghast, Galayn Lord, Karatallid, Kessobahn, Korabas, Korlat, Merrid, Okaros, Thyrllan, Tiamatha

I am willing to give Okaros and Korabas a pass for a few days but if then if they are still alive i will be very doubtful of the reveal.

No one else has caught my attention, so i'll have to have a read through of current cases and see if anyone stands out. Korlat has not posted yet. Maybe she will be Modkilled. So i'll leave her be for now.

I was the one who said we would have to give them a pass for the rest of the game, and I do think that is the case if we don't lynch one of them today. But looking at Tiam's post actually makes me a little suspicious of him - why would you doubt the reveal if they stay alive? The power of their role is totally and completely lost, and I hate to bring up potential scum strategies (for obvious reasons), but the ENTIRE PROBLEM of giving them a pass is that we cannot do what Tiam says and go back and revisit the reveal just because they survive a few days. This is exactly something a killer would do (or say?) - leave the lovers alive to sow this type of confusion and bring us back to bullshit day 1 reveals when we should be looking at endgame at that point. This is the noob game so I'm laying it out there even though I normally wouldn't say all of this but if we lynch Okaros or Korabas we prevent ourselves from falling into the trap Tiam seems to be laying for us.

You're right, I misquoted

Edited to add:
Fucking enter key...

I was at work and didn't want to take the time to do another fucking reread. I feel like we have no choice at this point. Okaros is putting up a hell of a defense, but I would hope that scum would try to make me doubt them. I don't feel good about letting them both go since I think something is up here. This whole case was started by Tiam which sounded good at the beginning but is feeling less and less right.

And while you are being so talkative Tiam, care to address this? Alkend was NKed, and there's this small seemingly innocuous comment directed at you. In fact, that was the last thing of substance before she bit the dust. Explain.

And, at the risk of sounding OMGUS, you are acting like you are trying to direct the thread, still harkening back to your poor case and ignoring what others around you say (except to please Merrid).

I haven't looked into GL. The suspect pool is quite large at the moment. I cannot focus on everyone. If there is a case made and I agree with it i'll vote that way, if not i'll try and make one myself. Where is the narrow focus-ism coming from? From Okaros on day one? I was right even though he wasn't scum. It was the right lynch to make at the end of the day. You were also on that lynch weren't you? Are you now saying you disagree with it?

The more I read your posts the more I consider you suspect number one. Your smart, your reasonable and your grammar is inch perfect. You are not making much fuss. I was going to say this earlier.

See. You killed Alkend to make this post more prominent? I thought I explained this a few times. I'm not saying your a killer because you gode me, or point fingers, you do seem calculating and I doubt I could make a case on you if I tried.

Rewind:

If Okaros was killer and Korabas his symp then Korabas' reveal was timed perfectly due to Okaros being L1. If we were to believe the reveal and lynch someone else and play on with two PI then scum would have to kill them. They would be a voting block and people can rally around them. Towards end game scum would be at a disadvantage and town be wary of Korabas and Okaros at this point. The best day to lynch one and test the reveal was yesterday. Is this more clear?

About the weekend freeze: JLV can freeze the game at his (GMT -5) evening, with around 4 hours before the time-out of day 2, or we wait until day 2 is over and resolve day 2 and night 2 (btw. provisionals are always your friend)

what would you prefer?

What I caught up. I wasn't going to try and build another case on anyone so soon in the day. Plus my case yesterday ultimately got a town player lynched. I am willing to listen to other players but maybe I will not agree all the time.

Fridays are always are hard day for me to play much, and usually everybody starts to taper off in activity.

Yeah I had some things come up at work but I might have time to post more later.

As far as the weekend freeze goes...just cause I have plans tonight I'd prefer to go to freeze before timeout on day 2 but leave the thread open for discussion till we resume on Monday. That's my preference, anyway.

Atrahal was NK'd last night. Why would the scum target her? Will do a re-read and see what she was posting and what content it was comprised of.

Reading back, it seems that Alkend was against Okaraos, then the Okaros-Korabas team almost from the start. She did basically nothing to harm any other players.
So I think that either this was a random NK, Atrahal was a symp attacking two innos and was hit by misjudged NK, Atrahal made Korabas unhappy by lynching Okaros(possible symp-scum relationship), or all three of these are wrong and I am a nincompoop.

Of course more than one of these could be valid concurrently.

Uh, so you referred to yourself instead of Alkend like three times in these two posts. That's pretty weird. Did you forget your alt's name? Are you the FM? :)

Ach. I keep doing that! :) I had to keep reminding myself not to write my name a bunch of times. Also, I've never seen the name Alkend before. Where the hell did that come from?

And on a serious note, chances are high that there is no FM in this game.

Is that so... :)

:) Aha! I should have known from the start! Only a true cold-blooded killer would use the slowly clapping smiley face guy following a sarcastic comment! You've dug your own grave, villian!
