Is there one major player in goverment left who seems to have the support of the president? They have all either left or been fired, the ones who have stayed all have rumors of a poor working relationship. He would probably love to fire the attorney general too if he could.

Totally just a fine thing. Now Steve Goldstein, who has been warning about Russia and was picked by Tillerson to try and prevent Russia's attempts to influence US citizens, fired. Totally fine. Steve was one of two (now there is just one, for those counting at home) under secretaries, there are normally 7.

Oh, and on Monday, Trump's personal assistant escorted out of the white house, and is under investigation by Homeland Security for financial crimes. Oh today this same person is offered a cushy six figure job for Trumps re-election campaign that has no defined responsibilities.

Meanwhile the guy Trump wants to replace Tillerson is a psychotic yes-man that wants to scapegoat Islamic people to rise to power. Mike Pompeo has stated a number of times that you can't be a US citizen and be a member of Islam.

More old white dudes that hate anyone who aren't exactly like them, and claim they are going to come kill everything you care about if you don't hate them to.

Just a fine thing to do.

Thing is it's not so much the firing itself that's an issue over all his other firings, it's as noted by Tiste the blatantness with which it is a response to Tillerson criticising Russia.

I mean, Trump is really bottling the response to what is a war crime comitted against an ally.

It means Mueller said they have to give up everything they have, not asked gently. If they refuse or don't give up everything they have (and should have), its illegal.

Trump, well through Sessions actually, fired former FBI deputy director McCabe. A couple days before he was eligible for his pension. A pretty big fuck you.

I only post this because I'm surprised at how fucking dumb the Trump Adminstration is. Now, it's no secret that Trump isn't really making friends with pretty much anyone in America who isn't a billionaire, but now he's done something that should raise the ire of most men and women working at the FBI. Or just any working citizen really.

I don't know what the general sentiment about McMasters was before this but just the signal it sends alone. How fucking dumb do you need to be that you go out of your way to make an enemy of the best bloodhounds the country has?
