EDIT- if Russia is found to have interfered with the election (though I think this is a given at this point at least to some degree), what does it mean that Trump will have been in office for over a year. Should new elections be held on priniciple? Should trump be eligibile. How do we know if they significantly changed the outcome or if the will of the people was trump regardless.

Seems to me that most of America is carrying on regardless but the implication is enormous.

Similarly for brexit allegations etc

The procedure in place state that the Vice President would take office, but since he's dirty too, the Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, would be president.

Ryan would be less embarrassing, but a more viciously destructive president. We would see moves that pave thy way for the destruction of the federal government in my opinion, especially the eliminating of Social Security and Medicare and medicaid.

@ Vengy: After considering it and reviewing it I think your right on your tax argument. I don’t perfectly know how to resolve this with my personal ethos as it differs clearly, but as a nation mistakes were made. I might go a little bit more center in terms of raising them and establish a high rate of taxes at the state level then people here, but it’s preety daunting to consider the future implications of the mistakes made these last 15 or so years. I guess the core state isn’t always the problem..

The NRA's members vote. And they ALWAYS vote. They don't need to spend a ton of money. There is a reason they give out report cards on legislators, Nic. People will absolutely choose the more NRA aligned candidate in a primary, and that is where their power is. Dems mostly are a "shrug your shoulders" okay with either, but isn't the difference maker in primaries.

Watched the Stormy Daniels interview on 60 minutes. Not much revelatory really. The reoccurring theme of Trump having the hots for his daughter came up again (that sick fuck). She did reveal that a goon was sent to to her to threaten her. She doesn't come off like the ditsy porn star stereotype you might perceive she is. She actually came off pretty well spoken and intelligent, imo.

It's my impression that the professional pornstars who actually have name recognition, typically are pretty savvy. Sex sells and if you want to make it you have to have a mind for the business.

Can't blame her for milking this thing for everything it's worth.

Also can't wait to see how much material the late show hosts get out of the interview this week. Stephen Colbert's existence seems to be almost entirely hinging on Trump and the GOP by now.
