Makes sense. I'm in the subs of the south side, where there is a great, great deal of long time, hardcore conservatives, who'd probably actually follow Bobby Knight sadly enough. It was a line in 2014. It was ridiculous today.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Wait, by 'ridiculous' do you mean high turnout? Because, looking at the numbers, that's sad.

Well, I vote in primaries and local elections. So, considering that level, today was ridiculous. And 90% of the people at my station were voting Republican, so compared to 2008 and 2012, when there wasn't a competition anymore in a R Primary, it was ridiculous.

Oh well. It has been called for Trump on the R side, but it's a close race on the D side. Bernie is ahead for now, with 43% in.

Oh good. The most unqualified person to be nominated is now one of two people who will be elected. Yay America.

He's going to lose embarrassingly, the Republicans will regroup around Ryan to form a sane party again.

Reset.

Looks like Bernie's got this, FWIW. 53-47 with 68% reporting.

So Bernie picks up a whopping 7 delegates. Not enough.

Yeah, basically his only chance at this point is that Republicans, having no real reason to vote in their own primary, will wander over to the D primary.

You know everybody said this before the primaries began right?

I know the demographics in the general election are wildly different (with the general pull towards the center and importance of independents), but I really doubt Trump's loss to Hillary is anything like a certainty. He can push the "I swept the Repub primaries while everyone was saying I couldn't do it, now watch me do the same thing in the general".

The hispanic/women/black vote is going to skew wildly towards Hillary (probably), but I do believe that low turnout on the incumbent side in support of someone as unpopular as Hillary will be a significant factor in this race. (and please don't argue that Hillary is popular, a socialist jew from Vermont is beating her in a lot of Dem states and a significant portion of her delegate lead is from red states.

It is entirely pointless. He has no chance without a contested convention, and that's not going to happen. Maybe he's hoping Trump will kick the bucket between now and then.

So why aren't you?
Hillary is more of a Republican than Trump. He's just a crazy racist fascist.

She's what base Republicans would call a RINO, if she actually called herself a Republican.

Lol. But that's only because the Base is now pushing so far right they're about to fall off. >.>

And still doesn't explain any desire to vote for Trump. You're literally better off having anyone and anything else for a President than that. Unless you do want to watch the world burn.

You could always write in the name of your favorite non-racist Republican instead of voting Trump.

(Just read that write-in candidates aren't actually a thing in much of the rest of the world, interestingly enough).
They came with white hands and left with red hands.
