"This is not Mr. Oil, or Mr. Gas, or Mr. Coal." THAT IS WHY WE LIKE HIM.

It's better so far Worry.

PS—I don't like that Obama is avoiding the question of high gas prices and the reasons for it. Of course Romney's not going to address the real reasons; he can always just accuse Obama of not drilling enough; he's a Democrat so everyone will believe it.

WOW. This is going to get u-g-l-y.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

ALL politicians avoid the lower gas prices question - because ultimately there's little they themselves can do about it.

Yeah, but why not make that clear by explaining why the prices are high?

OMG, I can't believe there's an hour left of this.

Specifics are subjective and therefore meaningless.

"Hi, erm, yeah, I can't really do anything about that....vote for me!"

You have a too high opinion of the average voter...and they have too low an opinion :) That's why they don't.

40 minutes in it's a blow-out for Obama.

I'm a little biased though. Just a teensy bit.

Obama had better address the question of the doubled deficit. It's starting to make me mad. Bush is the one who doubled the deficit; the 2009 deficit was already $1.2 trillion when he took office and it ended up at $1.4 trillion because of the stimulus.

Edit: UGH, HE DIDN'T DO IT.

No real standouts at the moment. The only thing I'd say was that Obama came out on top on the women's salaries question, and the "How are you different from Bush, Romney?" question was just an easy open goal for Obama.

That goes for both of them really. They should dispense with questions and the audience should just shout out a keyword like "immigration!" and let them say whatever anyway.
