( Well Clinton could win this next round, but Obama is really Fing her over atm...like wow) All I'm suggesting is the next swing is going to be brutal...Dems are seeing the popular opinion...Media is rebelling now.
I posted the Fox link on purpose. Sorry it was mean..wanted to see something. Plenty of sources out there that tell the same story. Though lately American Journalism seems like public relations if you know the difference.
There are plenty of IT savvy people that understand their is no reason..to "scratch" a Hard drive, or throw one away. This should have people go to jail.
Pretty sure I'm a somewhat 'IT Savvy' people. There is absolutely a reason to securely dispose of hard drives, even if they aren't working. You can still pull information off hard drives that are broken unless you shatter the platters or melt them down. Just sit down and accept that hardware breaks.

I AM AN AMERICAN, NOT A US SUBJECT.

which is horribly substandard compared to what they force private companies to do.
why the hell would you ever want the government to run anything with this viewpoint..? what?
What? I'm honestly not understanding what you are asking me here.
I don't understand the whole conservative viewpoint of the government as more unwieldy, with different departments not knowing what others are doing, compared to the larger private corporations. The Government is a collection of individuals. It requires compartmentalization to function correctly and it requires the people at the top to be competent regarding their supposed areas of expertise.
However, what we have now are people who don't want to spend money on anything because 'government bad' so they are just trying to destroy it to prove how 'bad' it is. Meanwhile they still get their paychecks and think they are 'experts' on everything they decide to try to pass laws on, despite having no foundation, education, or even talking to a professional about economics or IT or anything fucking else.
The simple fact of the IRS Emails thing is that a P2P email system has these kinds of flaws. HDD's break all the time. We are constantly replacing them at work, in servers that have better quality parts than the crap that gets put in 'budget' PCs, that sit in well regulated environments to elongate their lifespans.
Meanwhile, you have routing servers that know an email was sent. They don't know the content of the email, so you can't pull that email up off the servers like you can in a server based environment. You have to search through peoples HDDs to find them. If the primary HDD is gone, you can try searching through all the correspondence (which is what they have been doing and the thousands of emails they have already delivered to congress), but as it was a couple years ago most likely numerous of those PCs have been replaced and have had their HDDs wiped.
Meanwhile with the SCOTUS horrible citizens united decision, the IRS office in question had their workload quadrupled without being able to hire any more people because Congress are bunch of fucktards that can't seem to understand (or have other reasons) that quadrupling the workload of a division and not increasing their manpower is going to result in cutting corners AND longer delays.
'Tea Party' is a blatantly political term. Anyone applying for a non-political tax-free entity with that in their name should absolutely get a second look. So should 'Democrats' and 'Repblicans' and a bunch of other terms. And guess what, they were! Imagine that. Have you noticed that the press has found that the vast majority of these poor, discriminated against Tea Party groups violated the standards of the 'non political tax exempt' status they requested (and all received)?

That is what they asked for. 501c4. They could have gone tax exempt as political non profits, but they would have had to make public their list of donors. If you fucking want transparency in our government, thats a fucking wonderful place to start.
Meanwhile, none of these organizations are going to get anything from the IRS because the IRS is so understaffed that they can't enforce this kind of thing. Thanks, GOP!
But please, keep talking that 'Obama is the worst president ever' spiel. Avoided war in Libya, Iran, and Ukraine, despite numerous conservatives urging military action in all three? Fucking good work on foreign policy there. Americans (all people) as a whole are stupid morons. Public opinion polls only matter when talking about who is going to get elected. You need to wait until shit starts getting declassified and we see (5-10 years down the line) the repercussions (or not) of foreign policy before we can say if it is good or bad.
Now, I'll happily admit that Obama certainly isn't the best president ever. But he's the best we've had since Clinton (who essentially just road the Stock Market Bubble) and he is dealing with the most obstructionist congress ever. The problem lies there, not with Obama.
