The story is still rolling along fantastically. A major strength of this entry is definitely the fact that we're not being given an entirely new cast to work with. Instead, we mostly have characters from previous ICE/Erikson novels.

^^This. At 120 pages in, this is the thing I notice most. Every plot thread is awesome.

Well, I am about 350 pages in and it's definitely ICE's best book so far. But why's everyone so burly? Since when does Darujhistan have its own Claw? And Fluffy? You better be referring to that damn Imass...

So the amazon.uk estimated delivery date was yesterday.
No book.

If it does not arrive today, i am gone all next week. Was hoping to have it for the road but that's not looking good now.

man, thats crap! do what I did, I pre-ordered and the local shop didnt get it in for release day, £20 down the drain - just waiting, so I got the Kindle app on my phone/laptop and bought the UK ebook edition for £10, least I got to read it straight away, I couldn't resist the wait!

I had two days off work, it had to be done!

How does the Kindle work, you get 3 copies to put onto your devices? Could you not log into someones Kindle app and DL a spare copy? Hmmm

Got my copy last week, but still busy with the Crippled God.

The upside of being home yesterday because I got ill was that I had quite some time to read when I couldn't sleep during the day.

Yay, mine finally arrived minutes ago, making the long and arduous journey down to little old New Zealand. I can almost imagine the epicness of its journey.

Ended up ordering off amazon, and I'm just happy because the local stockers are still advertising a Feb 17 release.
Haha beat u mofo's!! Just in time for some weekend reading.

Well my shiny PS Publishing copy has now finally landed and a bit earlier than I thought too.

The book looks fantastic and I'll be ordering more from Pete, especially if they get an edition of Blood & Bone, but I think a copy fpor the Kindle will be a must next time too, six months is along wait.........

My PS one landed not too long ago and looks great as usual from PS - the only issue I have is with the delay, normally the PS copy lands a nice while before the general release, making it that little bit more special as we get to read it first.
