Post forum oddities discovered or remembered here.
For instance, currently the member whose profile has the 2nd most views (behind Apt) is "emma watson in bra", a poster who joined the forum this year and has neither posts nor reputation (not surprising considering you need to post to have rep).
Is this an inside joke I missed, or is it people googling emma watson that keep viewing his profile? If so, nice schtick!

You’ve never heard of the Silanda? … It’s the ship that made the Warren of Telas run in less than 12 parsecs.

I am a prolific bullshitter.
I've been letting my repwhoring slip though. I really should start posting more links and pictures again.

I'm just proud to be on page 1 of the profile views (if it's set to 60 members per page)
.
I'm just not active enough for more though.

A lot of us are late to the party as it were. I'd have a lot more posts if GOTM just came out and i'd discovered this forum but it wasn't until I had almost finished the series before I discovered the forum and THEN I discovered Mafia

The "Games" Forum has by far the most replies - over 160,000. Which is a fancy way of saying the Mafia subforum has the most replies, of course.
In fact, either of those forums have more posts than the entire book fora combined! I'm not sure if this is still the case, but in the past you could even add on the entire reply count of the Phoenix Inn to the book fora replies and they'd STILL be out-posted by the Mafia section. XD
And for those of you who raise the logical objection to this fun fact, that the Phoenix Inn gets cleaned out every so often...don't forget that the Mafia forum was hit hard in the Great Forumpocalypse, and lost a couple of year's worth of games.

So what you are saying is that Malazan Mafia players are spammy, lying, backstabing, fun-loving, list making TITANS OF THE FORUM.
In fact, if you don't play Mafia, obviously you don't care about the forum at all.

HHM is also the largest usergroup, which means that we are not only TITANS OF THE FORUM, we are also completely non-elitist.

Come for the books, stay for the Mafia.
Fun fact: Tapper has had many female avatars over the years, but it's always the same girl. And both Tapper and I (your host, Shinrei) are often mistaken as being female posters.
For him, it's the feminin qualities he possesses. For me, I have no idea....

Hey now!!! You are all 16 in my books, esp you JLV (you never age as far as I'm concerned
). As for PEN, I know that most people know this, but for any new forumites:
PEN was originally the brainchild of one Kanese S's with me happily made as Co-founder. Originally, at the encouragement of people on chat, PEN was to be brown, but thankfully the first female of PEN (Lyca) rescued us and it was decided bright green was a better option (esp. for recruitment).
I would ask HHM when their last recruitment was, because PEN is still actively growing
, accepting it's latest member over the last weekend
And I also wonder where chat would be if conversations were converted to posts
And yes Shin, I will be very active here. I am ecstatic about this thread and kudos to you.

^ there you are HHM !!!
We would accept you Tats btw, but I think unless things change, PEN has a 1 year cycle clause (I will probably have to depart on the anniversary of my join date... makes me sad to think about, so let's not bring it up again...

"The Bridgeburners" is a mysterious user group that no longer seems to be active.
It's probably safe to assume that they had something to do with gaming, due to their "Lounge" in the games section of the forum.
