so want to click on spoilers about Mid season finale, but its another 6 hours until it airs in the UK so I must wait.

I'm hoping the above reference to 'most hated character' is Spencer as he is a dick, although not sure how he will surpass Shane 'I'ma pretend you're dead so I can screw your wife, then when you return try to assassinate you multiple times' Walsh.

Midseason finale was good, would have been fine for any typical episode, but ya, I kind of felt a mid season finale would have more. Guess I'm spoiled...

I missed a 2 minute sequence w/ Darryl at the end, maybe it was on during first commercial break of Into the Badlands, will have to look for it.

I had a feeling that either one of the three there was going to die OR the rocket launcher was the only way out. What I couldn't figure was how anyone would get to the rocket launcher. Mr. Eat, Swallow, Repeat opened the door wide open for that. I REALLY felt when Rick went for the door in his moment of "My son may be dying and I can't do a thing, so I'm going to do the one thing I can that won't require any thought; Destroy Walkers."

wiener kid getting his HEAD eaten, wiener mom getting eaten/arm chopped off, and wiener brother getting stabbed. Followed by people actually killing zombies without a 10 second pause between each kill to think things over. Besides Morgan, of course, who has been turned into the show's Katamari ball for collecting bad ideas.

The worst part is the total cheat of wiener kid saying "mom" for the cliffhanger, and that being totally sidestepped, but at least it ended in glory.

I thought Rosita was gonna be a goner, since Duke Nukem loves the whiner now, but I suppose she was spared so we can have 6 episodes of love triangle before the finale.

I wondered, though, how none of the bikers - who were all there, spread out across the road, facing the truck with weapons at the ready - saw or heard what was going on with Daryl and the other guy. It's not like the guy's body fell behind the vehicle - it was in plain view - and at least one of the others must surely have seen Daryl taking aim with the rocket launcher because of the angle he would've had to get to take the shot.

The show is Amazeballs. Love it, started out with a bang (literally w/ Daryl). Then half way thru the comics-made-show moment w/ Karl.

Love this show.

I definitely liked the laid back approach to tonight, and the 'Bill and Ted' esque adventure of Rick and Daryl.

Completely shocked this constant talk of their town not having enough food didn't get thrown back into Jesus's face at any point. He even mentions the truck, but there's like zero blowback. He even gets a free ride home.

Anyway, obv. Negan is a big bad, and his name has been bandied about since the beginning of the show. That makes it a bit confusing that the Wolves are left dangling in the far periphery. Seems kinda anticlimactic to save them for after Negan/the Saviors, so hopefully they all manage to come together somehow. The battle of the three armies. Four, if there are zombies. And five, if there are mombies.

Lastly, G.I. Ginger is dumb as hell.

For all we know, most of the wolves were killed in the Alexandria attack, weren't they? The ones that got out Rick took care of at the RV. Was there talk of more? As in more than a few survivors who made it out or weren't involved in the attack.

What's his deal, was he giving up in that fight because he's upset he's "stuck" with Rosita instead of Sasha? Or was it more of the point of maybe like that Hilltop citizen said, he had a near death experience and saw Sasha(or someone else?) before he died?

I think Abraham is also dealing with depression over his families death, thus the pancake conversation with Glenn.He can't deal with Rosita's optimism and might be drawn to Sasha because of it.

The whole negotiation angle was poorly done. "what are you going to give us a box of bullets?" Ummm... a box of bullets for the right gun could cripple your little Hilltop community.
