Hello, my name is Tennes...I have been alt guessed due to my long ass argumentative post that is too long for anyone to actually read. ====O----

Yes. Yes you have

Vote Tennes

For being a long poster .

Careful, pointing out peoples alts is against the rules. And there's loads of long winded argumentative mafia players. It's a popular tactic.

Having said that, I guessed yours quite a while back. Hard to know with so many people posting so little, but we'll see.

Edit: Actually I'm not sure I did. Think it was someone else. Damn similar names/avs.

Careful, being too serious during a weekend break has caused cancer in some laboratory animals that are dragons...In other words lighten up and I never said who I thought you were.

Edit - meaning I dont want cancer fucktard. Posted Image

I think Tellan makes an interesting case with regards to Tennes - the remove vote and then jump back on at the very end does seem fishy. Tennes argues that he didn't vote for anyone else but perhaps that's because that would have seemed to obvious a diversionary tactic to try and halt the Sorrit lynch.

On the other hand, I also thought at the time when Tennes originally removed their vote that he had a point re attempted de-railment of a potential Anomandaris lynch (if that is the one he meant). Just as Anomandaris was getting a little pressure, there suddenly it switches to Sorrit (who turned out to be in a faction anyway). This, coupled with Anomandaris' use of a quote with no identity (suggesting he got it from a PM rather than the thread, which in turn suggests he is roled), makes me think it quite likely that Anomandaris is not town.

So both Tennes and Anomandaris, then, for different reasons. And then there's also the Telas 'gun' issue thing. I think those are three good places to continue heaping the pressure to see what tells. It's all a bit flimsy, granted, but then the flimsy Sorrit case worked out, so why not one or more of these? :)

Of course, if the sorrit train was de-railing from ano, that means they are more likely on different teams than not. Which raises an interesting question for town, if this is the case, in which faction to go after.

If everyone gets their orders in soonish, then someone will resolve them, but unless Venge decides otherwise, night will not time out, no.

Ok let me point out the obvious. The quote is from the opening post. Clear as day! And, in two places for fuck sake! Anybody who read it knows that.

People are throwing dirty socks at the wall and trying to see if they stick.

The derailment to Morgy was because he tried to be cute and role play a gangstar by saying "gunning for". Unless a shit load of people are cheating and talking off thread there can not have been a concerted effort to swing the votes off me. Only two players know who's on there team. Use your brains.

Well that was quick, seriously, 5 people said that in their posts. 5. well 6, counting me, but seriously? I'd not build a case on that this early, but it would make a good signalling case later if those 5 don't vote to lynch each other off.

Oh and I think that not one one them shouting "HOORAY! We lynched Morgy!!" makes them all look like noobs as well.

Therefore

HOORAY! WE LYNCHED MORGY!!!!

< not a noob.

To be honest, on my quick read through, those votes piled up faster than hell. So, I remarked on it. If you want to think that is signalling, have fun. An entire team doing that would be absolutely ludicrous, but whatever.

Morgy hasn't faired well in games recently. No huzzahs from me. No huzzah especially because it didn't matter really who we lynched. Not a sense of accomplishment at all.

Night should be resolved and people should get fucked for not being able to get their actions in within 12 hour nights and not provisionaling.

About the random accusations with zero justifications and how they aren't good: during most games yes. Day one here? Not bothered by it. Day two? I'd prefer to see some reasoning behind why we should lynch so and so for being "whatever faction seems to be behind" rather than just more bullshit as some town will arguably have a lean towards a winning condition and a way to go about achieving it.

If this was a chain-faction game the build-up would be interesting, as it seems Tennes suggests a leader might have jumped on thus Sorrit's train building faster than Anos. However... it's not a chain-faction game really, and that vote happened to early for that to take place. So, I'm curious by what exactly you meant by this Tennes:

Quote

Similarly, the vote justification is weak. It really could've been "I'd rather the lynch wasn't me", it doesn't really matter(ok, some justification looks better but with so little justification it's pretty obvious anyhow), because it is in whoever else is arounds interest to vote for the person who has just been voted because that builds up the train and makes it less likely to swing in their direction, giving us the snowball.

What is interesting is that this happens with sorrit, but not the trains beforehand.

To me everybody hopped all over Sorrit because it was the first clue that someone might not be town and thus roled, so you'll see all the town players hop-on for an early possible role-lynch advantage for their winning conditions with a couple outfit-fbi people jumping on for either distancing or chance-taking.

Some odd comings and goings during the lynch and the night, not sure what to make of some of the deflection that seemed to be going on. Personally when someone says something that sounds like they are definitely not in a faction for day 1 that is enough, dont know if there could be a case for deflection of ano, but it is something to think about. The on off business and the strange kess vote later on seemed not only forced bt out of character with the way the game was going. Will wait and see what night brings.

sounds like you thought yours would be the last night action to arrive.

I know where my vote is going tomorrow.

I think this must be the least amount of action I have ever seen in a Mafia game over a weekend - 11 posts since PS declared it a weekend break almost 48 hours ago!

Not that surprising, actually. A lot of old-timers are playing and for them, the mantra used to be: never post content at night. Seeing how the entire weekend was night.... well, you do the maths.

Posting at night is never really recommended, you cannot vote and if you make a case you are just begging to get targetted for it. IMO weekend breaks are better suited to the freezing of day periods.

very true. so, let's point the finger of blame on those people who didn't submit their night actions.

add to this the fact that Venge never actively plays on weekends (that whole family thing), and he's the papa mod for the game, and, well, nights are gonna be very uneventful.

not like you can build cases at night, since you never know, what if your top suspect wakes up dead tomorrow

Well, at least that elicited a mini-discussion. :)

So...how about that weather eh?
