I'm not trying to get rid of "low post, low quality" people. I'm trying to get rid of roled players, preferably of the Fuzz variety. Low posters are good random NK targets in this sort of game, so meh.

So people who are clearly not helping the town, and are possibly hiding roled players just by the fact that they remain quiet, and you don't want to lynch them?
Who would you want to lynch, then?

You know, I found it really strange how quick Korbas was to change his avatar when I voted him for it. It may be because I was involved in it and that's why it stands out to me, but it's something that piqued my interest. He should have said "Fuck you, your avatar looks like a dip-shit and the statue things in the Neverending Story" and voted for me. Reciprocity and such. Instead he instantly switched it.
Just a thought. (A poor one at that, but not to much genius on thread to blind it in its brilliant light.)

I hope this wasn't your alternative to voting for Kalse.

You know Tennes, I am about > < that close to voting for you. You are insufferable. You switch your vote to someone else entirely (not even a low poster, which in past posts seemed to be you primary focus). I would love to see you out of this game, and the only thing holding me back is thinking you are stupid townie. Only thing man.
I switched to the person I think most likely to be scum.
My dislike of low posters is that town doing it (and I doubt they're all roled), makes it harder to catch roled players, it gives them somewhere to hide where we've nothing to go on to tell them apart from town. But this is the very thing that makes me wary of voting them. While I'm certain there are roled players amongst the low posters, what is there to go on to say which are more likely to be town and which roled? I'd rather vote someone that I have more of a read on and reasons to suspect that person, than take a stab into the dark at a group where I have reasons to suspect there are roled players but no reason to suspect any one over another.
I'll switch skin and try and fix my posts.
You're ignoring the complete emptiness of Kalse's posts, his relative inability to defend himself strongly, and the FM theory to vote for me because:
1. I don't want town deaths.
2. I'm agreeable to theories unless they are utterly without evidence or point.
3. There are other low posters than Kalse.
If we're going to fix this low posting problem, we have to start somewhere.
1. But considering it doesn't seem to actually make a difference, posting it just seems like a poorly thought out post trying to seem like town.
2. You are middle of the road and agreeable to every theory, point and evidence or not.
3. Pretty much. I think you're more likely to be roled, because I have a strong feeling with you, with him it is simply a probability based on how many roled players I think are likely amongst the low posters.
Emptiness of his posts - isn't the only one.
Inability to defend himself - more dodgy, since he does seem to have been around. Not sure what to make of it though, since at this point, why wouldn't he post? It's pretty obvious that laying low isn't going to help him.
FM theory - Seems like a reasonably weak theory to begin with. Also, it comes back to there being so many low posters. You say Kalse is a logical choice, but why would someone pick him instead of any of the other low posters.

I'm currently voting Kalse, so I have no problem lynching him.
I just think "low post, low quality" is just as random as tossing a coin at this point and "bored town player" is rampant in these things.

Nah, that was a cross-post.
Frankly, I haven't done much investigating to have my own suspects.

Tennes, I'm tired of arguing. It's going nowhere, and I don't know how to defend myself against random, blind outrage.
As of right now, i'm starting to get creeped out by all the lurkers. Makes me feel like Thyr, Tellan, and company who were discussing/being discussed with us are standing by waiting to see if someone brings them up again.

It's neither random nor blind.
I looked at a lot of peoples play and yours struck me as looking particularly like being deliberately middle of the road.

I clearly took a stance on Kalse, opposite of yours. In supporting my own theories, I disagree with others. I don't have to right out and call someone an ass.

Having said that:
Remove Vote
Vote Kalse
I will be going sometime reasonably soon, and kalse seems the inevitable lynch, and I'm happy enough to get rid of a low poster. I'd rather Serc, but that seems unlikely, and leaving as a train of one when someone else has 6 votes seems silly.

I don't know why you think I'm opposed to voting Kalse. I'd rather vote you, think that the FM idea is silly, and that he's no worse than a bunch of other low posters - but he's no better either and my stance on them has been pretty clear. If we're going to lynch a low poster, he's as good a choice as any.
Thinking one case is better than another doesn't mean I think the other is awful.

And after a whole page, we are up to 7 on the lynch train. Any of the lurkers wish to polish this off so we can move on? And if not, why?

Frankly, I could level the same accusations at your own content.
You state the obvious a few times. Then you get into the "intriguing" connection between Anthras and Kalse, and then you get into moaning about me and how little content I provide.
So you complained about me not providing content, then went after a single low poster out of the group who I had been complaining about for quite some time prior.
And now you're back to complaining about my content.
I have given you the details of who I find most suspicious, along with taking a look at the 10 or so lowest posters and looking at their content. Tell me, where is your assessment of their content that led you to choose Kalse? Indeed, in a post about half an hour after you said you thought Kalse was a good candidate, and linked to all his posts, you "just finished going through his posts" and were "retracting your assumption". So wait, had you even read his posts the first time around? Because your first post implied you had. And I certainly can't see much evidence that you considered other people.
And what are your thoughts on Serc, while we're at it.
You say when you were pointing out the similarity in Kalses and Anthras' posts that:
"I was mainly pointing out blatant celebrations of successful kills of roled players that were almost so townie they were sickening"
What do you think about Sercs comment about being happy there were no town deaths, which seems rather contrived to me.
You are making a lot of accusations wit nothing to back them up.
