it almost felt like that the writer 'cheated' in bringing Dolla back to Darbi and co via magic rat mammal blue energy sentient tree portal.
(aside: also loving how every time the Dinos throw down the little rat things feel obliged to 'help' and mostly end up eaten or squished). On the other hand he could have done it a bunch of other ways that would not have been nearly as dramatic, and he did go through the steps of establishing the dino magic and tree and time travel as a thing, and going deep on the scifi and fantasy/magic elements, so ok, we're good here, on w the bloodshed. I knew exactly what was going to happen the second Dolla and Darbi spotted each other,

and it was GLORIOUS.

S5 is all gas so far and the twists coming out of it are amazing. The author did a great job setting things up to pay off at this point. I'm through S5E11 now, which is as far as I can go without the app at the moment.

Having Mez possess Darbi and make him commit almost all the murders in the S4 finale was really fucked up and absolutely perfect at the same time.

I also adored every moment of the conversation with Force Ghost Todd.

Seriously though, I haven't enjoyed a webcomic this much in years. This was a really solid recommendation. Thanks again Abyss.

Sateen gets what's coming to her. OMG when she took Randa a little part of me died inside. Which is insane bcs Randa, along w Mal's other two kids, is barely developed beyond air support and Darby's visions and that Darbi cares surprisingly a lot about them, and it WRECKED me, more than Lumen who we've actually seen a lot of. I was literally chanting 'no no nonono' as the scroll showed her flying towards Randa. I NEED Mal to wreck her. I am reasonably sure Darby and Myren are safe, and Jess most definitely is not.

Am into S5 now and the revelations are just coming fast and ugly and game changing.

i did NOT expect Sooze becoming a major player and omg the writer clearly loves bringing her into a scene with a bang (see: "Hey, is this the dead mothers' support club?" AAAAAAHHHH and when she charged thru a megalodon the fatheads could barely scratch). I loved the developments w the pomps muscling in on the Chloie sisters and how they cower and cower and then 'kay, time to call in the crocs and fuck shit up'.
