Edison Rex.
Lex Luthor-equivalent kills Superman-equivalent (sorta), but not before Superman (Valiant) gets him to swear to protect the world. Quite good and some nice sly digs at DC and Marvel.
http://edisonrex.net...c/issue-1-cover
Only problem is it ends on a cliffhanger, but the journey is fun.

"Fortune favors the bold, though statistics favor the cautious." - Indomitable Courteous (Icy) Fist, The Palace Job - Patrick Weekes
"Well well well ... if it ain't The Invisible C**t." - Billy Butcher, The Boys
"I have strong views about not tempting providence and, as a wise man once said, the difference between luck and a wheelbarrow is, luck doesn’t work if you push it." - Colonel Orhan, Sixteen Ways to Defend a Walled City - KJ Parker

Really enjoying this one: Stand Still, Stay Silent.
Sorta post-apocalyptic (after a pandemic hmmmm), magical, semi-mythological.
And it's entirely set in Scandinavia. Complete too. Would make a cool series.
http://sssscomic.com/
some excellent art. Here's a favourite:
https://sssscomic.co...ic.php?page=177
And of course a map (some spoilers!!):
http://www.sssscomic...mic.php?page=66
And here's a lovely comparison of the various dialects:
https://sssscomic.co...ic.php?page=180
I dunno ... it's all "Boort boort boort!" to me ...

Read and enjoyed The Guilded Age. Sorta D&D MMORPG meets portal fantasy.
https://guildedage.n...hapter-1-cover/
Also reading the Sword Interval. Spooky post-necromancy-apocalypse/monster hunting thingy:
https://www.webtoons...86&episode_no=1
Wilde life. Contemporary guy moves to the midwest, meets all sorts of supernaturals, gets a ghost-lady-from-the-1940s housemate. Quite well written.

Just finished another one:

Apocalyptic Horseplay
I think someone here used Warrace as an avatar but I may have my websites muddled.
What an excellent story! Thoroughly enjoyed and fully recommended. Four horsemen of the apocalypse out of four.

Ok... work w me here... imagine the movie THE LAND BEFORE TIME... the one w the cute baby dinosaurs.
Now imagine it's a webcomic.
A webcomic written by Quentin Tarantino. In his prime and before everyone figured out he's sometimes an asshole.
And imagine that Quentin watched PRIMAL and was so blown away that he paid Genndy Tartakovsky to script and draw the action scenes.
And imagine they both got wildly drunk and stoned during the entire creative process and occasionally paused to play GRAND THEFT AUTO and marathon whole seasons of 80s family sitcoms and sometimes google dinosaur stuff like 'cloacas'.
Now... if you can imagine all of that, and the concept leaves you giggling and slightly horrified yet intrigued, you need... NEED.... to browse over the webtoons.com and try out DARBI because, my friends, I shit you not, it is bloody brilliant, and insane that anything this good is free.

Can confirm. 10 pages in and it's quite bonkers.

That first story is full blown nuts. All of it.
And then it gets crazier. SO MUCH CRAZY. I am reading a fucking dinosaur holy war, the dinos are speaking like 90s videogame gangbangers, it is riveting.
And the story writing, the setup/payoff, the long games and call backs... I am on episode #115 and I am in awe of the guy writing AND drawing this. DC swept him up recently to do some online work. They're idiots, they should give him fucking Batman. He'll turn that t-rex in the batcave into the next batmobile and just massacre baddies.

DARBI 115-125.
Holy.
Fucking.
Dinofuck.
I need whiskey. Possibly a cigarette.
That was like watching Jurassic Park as directed by John Woo after he ate Jerry Bruckheimer's brain circa 1996.

Finished S3 in one looooong 'just one more chapter' marathon.
No spoilers, just raving....The writer is insanely ambitious and the sf/f elements he's weaving in could completely backfire except that he's damn good at this.
It's wild to me that i'm reading a comic, about dinosaurs, fighting, but a large chunk of the reason it's so gripping is because of the way the characters have been developed. An utterly c-list background character steps into a fight and it's HUGE because the main characters i do care about, care about him. There are comics writers and mass published fiction authors who cannot accomplish this.
