It sounds like the level of alarm is easing back down a notch.
I will not deny the reveal for now.

I think that leaves Karatallid as the leading candidate, but I'm not sure that I see any reason to lynch him right now. I'm going to look back and see if there are any cases that I agree with for now. Most of his heat was coming from others posts/actions, no?

Well...interesting day 1 developments.
I like the way you are forcing him into some corner as if he now HAS to answer to these allegations to prove ME innocent?
I mean...who is getting the votes here? He doesnt care. For all he knows i am scum. Why should he put any effort in.
For all i know HE is scum....BAH
"You think TS has some questions to answer" but what then?....you are just forcing him to stick up for me.
Then you are going to come back and say "look he is sticking up for the him again"
I dont like this reasoning of yours....its like almost orchestrated.
Nothing he says is going to look good with the way you guys are painting this simple vote he put on a random low poster.
As you pointed out, the initial vote isn't to do with your own actions, but TS'.
So I was putting pressure on him to see a reaction.
Technically, you were putting pressure on Kara. We haven't heard from TS since you made that post asking him to answer some questions. I'm not totally sure I buy the business about a symp signaling his master by voting for him... It seems a bit forced, and I don't know what you're looking for from TS, exactly. My initial thought was that it was a standard "apply pressure" vote. However, I'm reserving final judgment until he does come back and we hear from him.
Osseric's reveal...bad idea, I think. Why stir up so much confusion on day 1 like this? If you were really getting heat and L-2 or L-1 or something, ok, maybe, but even then...It's not as big of a deal because he's a guard, but assuming there is a healer out there, they now have to choose between healing an obvious target that isn't that valuable or letting Osseric hang out there on his own. Although this is M&P it may be hard to pin down exactly what roles are active here...the Fener being silenced thing is throwing things off for me right now. There's been no counter-reveal, so I'm willing to buy it for now, but we'll see.

Vote karatallid
I think TS looks like he's symping more strongly than Osseric did, Osserics reaction was pretty reasonable, and my vote always had an element of trying to get the game going involved.
I think TS has some questions to answer. The timing of the vote looks dodgy aswell. It comes just after a big discussion about whether cult could be M&P and accusations of people trying to confuse the thread, which is pretty serious. TS had been on for quite some time, so the vote doesn't seem right for a jokey/casual vote. Also, as D'riss pointed out, there are several players who made that sort of post.

Silanah-the highlighted words were to put pressure on TS.
The vote was not to put pressure on Kara, but because when you think someone is being symped you don't vote the symp you vote the master.

I realize that was your stated intention, but I'm saying that it doesn't necessarily play like that. TS hasn't even shown up since your vote, and all of the "pressure" has fallen on Kara. On day 1 with little evidence I'm saying that there may not have been enough substance for the Kara vote to actually put pressure on TS.
I'm not saying you shouldn't have voted Kara if you thought TS was symping him, only that the supposed symp is sorta out of the equation at this point.

Say "No way, I don't believe you, you're a liar, etc." Sorry if that was worded oddly.

For me there are several people that aren't giving much in the way of content.
I don't much like going after people for not posting much as early as day one, but our unwillingness to go for low posters generally does let people hide there.
The accusations of him being around seem to be from before he got as much heat (I haven't seen at the bottom of the screen since yesterday). The one thing that does strike me is that if he planned on lurking, I would've expected him to go anon the first time someone pointed it out.
I wouldn't mind a lynch on him, but he doesn't strike me as being much worse than any of the other low posters.
But isn't this always the issue with low posters? There is so little to go on most of the time that picking one to lynch is usually a lottery.
Regarding the reveal: at the least you're not a finder, Osseric, cause if so, I'd have been somewhat apocalyptically venomenous in my assessment of the size of your brain right now.
With Osseric not being counterclaimed, we do have a change of lynch train upcoming. Myself, I see nothing at all in a Kara lynch, so I'll not vote his way unless he drunk posts that he is in fact a murdering murderer who murders.
If we accept Osseric's reveal, then we also have to acknowledge that lynching Kara (partly) because Osseric is apparently symping him is a train of thought even a schizo can't defend.

See, that's the kind of things we should be avoiding, honestly.
Now, simply because it's still Day 1, and because people are partially willing to accept Osseric's claim, we're in essence PI-ing Kara as a consequence.
There are still people that need to pop up in here, in case one of them wants to try counter revealing - though I doubt it'll happen.

Not PI-ing, but the current case against him does not float for a very large part. And with the amount of data available from this day 1, we kind of need a better justification than "they looked at me funny, they had votes on them and time is running out".
Which is why personally, I'd have little issue with sending Galain to the stake for some burnination, myself. At least there is a whiff of him deliberately diving below the radar through quietness there.

Im going to go ahead and lay my vote down.
Vote galain
I get the distinct impression he is laying low now and hoping someone else gets lynched.
Dont expect to see him back unless a train gets bult on him.

Would the counter claim even be that informative? is there a reason we can't have 2 guards
Also PS you have telas thyrllan and osseric as voted and not voted and tulas shorn is missing from either.
edit-Yes

there could just be a series of coincidences that make osseric look guilty but we might need to remove him to be sure.

Sigh...When did voting for your boss ever become a sign of potential signalling anyways?
Around when people kept doing it.
It's certainly not uncommon.
However, it is usually pointless trying to catch it (either as town or scum), so the signalling is usually a certain kind of vote.
Kinds of vote that are dodgy:
1. Voting someone before they are online. Pretty obvious.
2. Voting with very forced reasoning. This can be a symp signalling or a master wanting to get a vote down to avoid the main trains later. Obviously a bit subjective.
3. Voting jokingly while the game is getting serious (TS can I feel be accused of this). Joke votes aren't in the innos interests. The problem is that innos still tend to do it fairly often(though it seems to be in decline) on day one, in the early joking phase, so it's only really if they do it after that when it is dodgy (since normally too many people are doing it, which gives the scum an easy place to hide a signal, and can't really help the innos until later when looking at patterns).
4. Voting for no reason, or just to vote. Similar reasons to 2.
who said my vote on Kara was a joke vote? we had someone that was on just to tell people they were on. if you didn't have anything to add why even bother to tell people that you are here. that annoys the hell out of me.

Has anyone seen D'riss in the last 12 hours or so? They were kind of all over the place as well in the early stages of the day.
