Agreed as far as the hair goes. I also feel as though his face looks a little young.
"Ignoring him, she stepped back out of the ellipse and began singing in the Woman's Language, which was, of course, unintelligible to Iskaral's ears. Just as the Man's Language-which Mongora called gibberish-was beyond her ability to understand. The reason for that, Iskaral Pust knew, was that the Man's Language was gibberish, designed specifically to confound women."

I think Rake works well with the theme, channelling the Fabio, tried and proven!

I love it -- fits my mental image of Dassem as lithe and muscular, full of suppressed energy. Can't tell if he's meant to be wearing pants at all, which is possibly the effect you were going for? Or not.

lol glad to hear that UoW. The pants are meant to stick to his legs as he's emerging from the water. Thats why they seem rather tight. I have never tried to depict wet textures properly. I'll be doing a few studies before going any further with this picture.

Looks awesome, the only thing is I'd think his skin should be a lot darker than the pants (if those pants are meant to be a shade of tan; since there's light shining on him I assume that's their normal color).
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I think you're right there, I might want to change the shade of the
pants entirely. He looks naked as is...

Wow, Dolmen. I'm really liking the look of this and I'm pleased you guys decided to take the process public
And yes, who is the other guy?
It just occurred to me now that Paran wasn't in the poll. How is this possible?! Can't believe I didn't notice...

Perhaps the calendar needs a "cover"?

Now that you bring it up, yes. It definitely needs a coverboy

I actually think it's extremely fitting that the Master of the Deck features on the cover of the calendar. I can see him now, spreading his...arms wide to embrace all the other, er, entries.
Man, that didn't go where I expected it to.
