i think its a bit late but i'll add in Trull in keeping with the two vote policy. Im thinking of closing the poll on monday. The top 12 winners seem pretty clear.

@ corp: i did a sketch of them in a bar yesterday, wasn't very legible though so i trashed it. Hows yours turning out? Will we get to see it some time soon?

do you take notes off the forumn database or did you re-read? some characters are completely grey to me. Ameron Hawl and the crusts seem notably vague

mostly wiki's and memory. Will have to re-read Hawl and Ameron. I know Hawl shows up in HoC and Ameron in RotCG its just a matter of finding descriptions.

Hey Corporal, apologies if this is a bit cheeky, but I was wondering if you had thought about doing a scene like the fall of Dassem outside Y'ghatan. Especially now that you will be sketching out the details of Dassem for your last supper scene. I'd love to see Dassem and the sword together for the last time (especially since Temper is one of my favourite characters, along with Dassem).

Is it a suitably visual scene to do a good painting of.

I would do it myself, only I'm completely shit at drawing.

back on topic here, i think if i got to choose Id definately want to try working on either Mok, dassem or dancer.

im thinking of trying a run up sketch of each to help decide. What scenes involving any of these three could we call sexy?

Id imagine a training scene, or somesuch?

Not sure if any "sexy" scenes spring to mind for Mok, Dassem, or Dancer to be honest. Are the scenes of these characters killing everyone considered sexy?

I suppose for Dassem, you could have him building the boat with Ereko in RotCG. That way he's actively doing something physical without killing?

Mok? Tough one. Maybe him tending to one of the hounds (garath or Baljag sp?) when Envy doesn't realise it is sick/injured.

Dancer is a tricky one too. Could you do the scene of him passing the rope down to Kalam when they are in the imperial warren? Since in that scene he's actually being quite playful, and you get to sketch out a pretty cool location too


If you just want to do amazing scenes with these guys, then your options increase exponentially.


Was just thinking about the list up above as i went ot vote, and realised it's missing 2 of my favourite characters, TEMPER, and IRON BARS.
From Night of Knives alone, Temper has several really vivid scenes which would be great to see painted.
And the same goes for Iron Bars.

Anyway, hope any of those suggestions are a help, or trigger a better suggestion from someone else. Since I'm always impressed by what you guys come up with, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.

So essentially a playful Dancer/Cottilion was not as easy as I'd thought but BoD
I think you're on the money. Dont know if he needs a rope around the waist or shoulders
but I do remember an apple. Thought that was very much the "bro" quality we're looking
for. and then Dassem....fishing? I thought it'd be a great chance to show-off his back
and play with reflections from the pool. Dassems the type of guy you'd expect
to go fishing with a sword. Did not turn out as great as I'd hoped.

Unsure if short-hair Dassem > or = to long-hair Dassem as in my avatar.
I am pulling hairs out my head over Mok. just don't see him as anything more
than Jedi class awesome. sexing him up is like placing a toothy smile on Winston
Churchill. it just doesn't look right. still Im trying a sketch of him sleeping
with a sword in his hand...might work.

For Mok, what about him reacting to seeing Envy's lip-print on his mask for the first time as he takes it off before going to bed? Or a mirror shot, you could do his front and back then
