Fantastic art! I think all of the drawings are great :) The only problem (problem is too strong a word, but it's only one I can think of at the moment) is that I can vaguely recall Cotillion thinking to himself that he needs a hair cut and shave, and then in a later book another character commenting on his short cut hair. But it doesn't really matter, as the Cotillion pic is brilliant. I can't wait to see the final calender.

Thank You!

Quite sure were almost done and Its an interesting point you raise there. I think the safest thought would be that this is cottilion post haircut? (Who the hell cut his hair though? surely not ST!...or the hounds for that matter.)

@ CN: Hey man, If you're done with Brys please post him up in the MAG calendar folder. He looks proud, like a Lanister, which ironically I always pictured him as. nice choice of setting too. really great outcome.

@ ISolde: Tusks out the jaw or out the mouth in profile can be tough, especially if they lance forward. try emphasize a curve upwards? it probably won't look pretty but might get your idea across better.

What size do I make it?
And we've pretty much entered the 'it is what it is' stage. Grudgingly.

@Dolmen+

I think he cut it himself *shurgs*. Although the image of Cotillion sitting there with ST cutting his hair is very amusing :)

That comment about the short hair] might be somewhere in DoD or TCG, just 200ish pages into my reread of DoD so I can't tell yet.
Spoiler

My thought: Perhaps (Not) Apsalar came by for old times sake and gave him a haircut?

I think he was thinking about cutting it in either BH or RG and it was mentioned as being short in TTH, he wasn't in DoD was he? And I don't think it was TCG, but I could be completely wrong.

Haha, Apsalar would probably cut someones hair with her knives and they'd be bald in about 3 seconds.

Here's a quick sketch of Tattersail for the cover. I sorta made it an echo of Fausti's cover, with the back pose and the cards. She'll be less blue as I progress :p

What do you guys think so far?

small update. Started laying down some basic colours and establish a light source...I think all my pinups are side-lit like this, and it wasn't even intentional!

hey everyone i just wanted to point out that I'll be working up the calendar starting today. Again i encourage artists to sign their work in someway. Not mandatory but VERY encouraged. I'll upload the original scale zip files on various upload accounts once done. Hopefully it'll all be ready by christmas.

yes all files should be jpeg'd. The file dimensions should be set to fit on paper no smaller than A3 metric. The calendar itself will be worked up to fit an A2 sheet comfortable with no pixelation. I think we need to maintain a high dpi, im not sure what that does for the file size, I'd like it all to stay under 10 mb. Internet here is so slow anything bigger will take hours to download. If you are over shooting or undershooting this scale or size its not such a HUGE problem. I'll work with it as best i can.

Somehow I get an Adelish feel with this Tattersail picture, it must be my imagination.

A nice masterpiece Grim.

Thank you!
