I'm not sure why you think a lynch is much needed Tat. I mean, it does reduce the amount of people to choose from, but do you have any better reasons. I am worried about hitting a finder (though, I must confess twelve doesn't strike me as one)

Twelve is in no way a finder, he would have revealed, he is saying he wants the finder to reveal. This, and the fact that if he is town he would not reveal to save himself as that would have damaged town further. I'd remove my vote as long as a finder agreed to find Twelve tonight but we won't know that will we. We need to lynch three times before we get finder kills although i'm sure the finders are doing their finds each and every night.

We need to lynch MH three times.

the only people who gain from the finders not revealing is scum, which is why im casting an eye at the people being very vocal about keeping the finders secret.

sadly thats the group who are most likely to be our finders aswell

But why would the finders want to keep themselves secret? There are no killers. And I don't see any reason they would risk being lynched accidentally by us not knowing who they are.

why is having the finder reveal harming town?

WIFOM madness - once they use up their three FKs, they'll be RI, and perfect jump targets for MH. Which is why they won't be taken over, because they're too obvious ... which is why they'll be back to being perfect targets for conversion.

Which discounts a Day or two of confusion if there's a fake reveal, either by a Symp, or if there's no Symp (which is feeling more likely), an MH who's willing to die once to create mass confusion.

it wont create mass confusion, just one days worth, which is less confusion that what we have right now, it might make sense for the FKs to save there 3rd kill till near the end

But if they are careful and coordinated, they won't use up all 3 FKs until absolutely necessary. And it's not like they are at risk of finding MH twice in one night, so as long as they are careful after the second FK, they should be immune and fine.

i think by them remaining anonymous then the MH could try and jump into them and try to recruit them without knowing they cannot be recruited which also protects other people from being recruited sooner.

Plus, don't forget that once we know the finders, that is around two less people we have to consider for a lynch.

I see the benefits of the finders revealing - easier coordination, more knowledge for town....but I'm not scared to point out the negatives: chance for scum to sow a great amount of confusion, to the extent that we begin to doubt, perhaps even lynch, a true finder because we've been convinced they're the ones lying.

As this is an important issue, perhaps we should take a vote on it - I'm happy to go along with the majority as there's pros and cons to both strategies really.

That is only a delay tactic. It will only hinder MH and not really help the town.

Okay, I just went back to read it to check again, yes so at any one time scum will be two members.

We haven't got that much time left in the day to dick around.

Before some hammers me I think that MH is in this group of players:

ansible, Grief, HiddenOne, Khellendros, Kurt Montandon, Mentalist, Vengeance

Hopefully the finders will get smart and come out and will have eliminated some of these players from consideration.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.
