I don't see how you can't comprhend this. It's like you bring the only gun to a knife fight but decide to use a knife instead. You're stuck on your deal without, as Tennes and I have both argued, realizing that you're the one who dominates the night. Now, Korlat may be guarded and thereby blocked, but if he can guard himself (I don't know, but perhaps he can), having won already 1 duel (and thus having 6 or more hitpoints) he'll be having preeeeeeeetttttty good odds of winning that duel even if it comes to attrition.

If we do it my way, we remove emur's advantage. Barbs stay tied with Yan in the power position and have a probable voting ally in the remaining Xia. Add to that the fact that the usurper will want Yan dead.. It's the best chance for everyone. (Except Xia)

Tile related powers. We are in Xia lands, don't you think that if there are tile related powers, then the Xia Emperor is the most likely person to be a bit stronger there?
