i'm not denying there were cases behind each train (convenient that they were all articulated by sorritt), but i'm genuinely disturbed by the fact that no one looked anywhere else.

There really hasn't been a lot else to look at - Serc managed to dominate things rather heavily with his reveal, and he and Tiamatha have been our focus.

If we came back around to you, it's because Serc's gone and Tiamatha's a walking dead man. So ... back to our original concern about how you were possibly signalling, and how that suspicion got derailed.

ffs, no one even mentioned voting low posters to get them to contribute.

I just kind of zone out every time I see wall-of-text type posts, and lose motivation to do it myself. I honestly just can't do that, and I certainly don't have hours to sit around and compile such lengthy cases with such tenuous conclusions. Besides, so far in this game, I've only done a single read-through. Given the weather, I might just sit down tomorrow and work my way through everything, especially since we'll have more than two data points by then.

I'll be going to bed in 30 min or so, at which point I'll be back 4 hours after time-out or so to resolve.

Also, a Meanas vote coming from you has shades of a very elaborate OMGUS, given that he's the one who pointed out a possible code from you.

i call bullshit on the underlined part. we've had plenty to look at.

we have 2 trains. in a faction game. following interactions (which is basically what i've done) yields a wealth of info.

be honest, and call a spade a spade--no one WANTED to look anywhere else, because Osseric, Meanas and Sorrit were feeding you plausible lynch targets. so why bother?

at this time, I can vote either one of the three of Sorritt, Osseric, or Meanas.

the fact that you still cling on to that typo is telling in itself.

Serc fed us himself as a plausible lynch target, and Tiamatha's the logical follow-up.

no. Serc revealed at L-3. prior to that, he was being voted on suspicion that he was Gamelon's emperor. the signalling case was articulated by sorritt and heavily encouraged by Meanas and his followers.

Well ... does anyone object if I hammer while P-S might still be around?

With only a little more than three hours left, and so many votes needed, the possibility of getting a different lynch is practically nil.

It's more a matter of realizing I hadn't followed the lynch-Serc very closely. I really need to do a re-read, so I can get all this straight. I do know that Tiamatha and Serc both are both necessary lynches, once we had a possible fake-reveal in a faction game.

---

By the beginning of the summer of Tai He 3, Xia forces were firmly entrenched in Chang An. Reports from the southern border detailed numerous victories over Yan armies and the border with Liu Yao's was quiet as alawys. At Shen Pei's suggestion, Yuan Tan summoned his generals to Luo Yang to discuss the next major offensive. The assembly gasped when the high-ranking general Cen Pi appeared at the entrance.

"We are honoured that the veteran general has come to educate us on matters of strategy," the other commanders said, "but what able general have you found that you could leave in charge of such a great responsibility as the entire northern border?" Cen Pi laughed and said "Gentlemen, rest your fears! Gongsun Zan's rabble has not moved even a span south in over fifteen years! Furthermore, His Excellency's own brother, the Prince of Xin Zhou, was eager to serve the dynasty by temporarily taking charge of my soldiers."

"What idiocy!" came a cry from the rear entrance of the chamber. The Emperor stepped in from the doorway "My brother Shang is a craven and selfish man who knows as much about military affairs as he does of farming. Your army, general, will be completely drunk in three days, then dead of dysentry in three days more."

Cen Pi, realizing his error, begged leave to return north and immediately fled the capital. His retinue only made it to the river crossing at Chao Ge. As Pi stepped off the river ferry, he was met by a man riding a silver horse and bearing a spear eleven spans long. The man may once have had a youthful and handsome appearance, but now his skin was hard and his face was wrinkled.

Cen Pi said "You sure got old."

The man replied "You sure got dead." and thrust his spear into Cen Pi's torso.

Tiamatha (Edrigan) is dead. He was Cen Pi, General of Chariots and Cavalry, a Civil Official of the Xia Dynasty.
