Hmm, finally caught up and somewhat undecided.

From a quick google search, if the name Serc has given is correct then Tiam is likely a military officer, ie. killer/healer. At the same time, there are two roles that can make finds, Civil Officials and PMs. With Gamelon a civil official and Emu a possible one, that makes it more likely that Serc is a PM and the more powerful role IMO.

And I guess maybe it's just me but, aside from the off chance that Serc finds the Usurper, why do we particularly care about confirming finders in a faction game? So that when he points out your leader, everyone else will believe him? I thought standard practice was to off them as quick as you could.

I'll be around for a bit, so not dropping a vote yet.

It's interesting that you don't understand the point of confirming the find and that you somehow still believe that the case for me being Gamelon's emperor has merit....actually, wait, you don't think I'm an emperor at all, but somehow you're undecided on whether to vote for me? You realize the entire train on me is based on me being the Lu Emperor...right? Why exactly are you considering a vote for me? Just because you think I have a "more powerful role"? Um...how do you know I'm not in your faction?

I smell a Xia member trying to avoid voting for Tiam. Lynch the finder pointing out your teammates so he doesn't find your leader? Yeah....right... It also doesn't help that this post you just made brings you from the lowest poster in the game to....tied for the lowest poster in the game.

If it were town vs scum, I'm all for confirming the finds. Factions, not so much. I guess I just don't understand where you're coming from. You haven't really given any reasons or thoughts about voting for either me or Tiam. Some role speculation, yes, but no real opinion. If you're so undecided, I'd expect some discussion. But no. I find that weird.

With so many factions, it's not too revealing to say "OK, I'm voting for this guy even though we supposedly know his faction, to test a potential finder." Because testing a finder doesn't make sense in most faction games, but it's crowded enough that it does here.

After all, you might turn out to be on my team.

At this point there is not much to discuss. You can dress it up with a few pretty words as Galain did, or you can admit the choices are whether or not you want to vote for someone with a defined faction that is not your own or for someone who may become a confirmed finder, who may or may not be in your faction. Neither of you are the Usurper or an Emperor, so it's a lynch for info and maybe a numerical advantage.

So you claim to have gotten both the faction and name, as you should. You claim to have held back the name, which I don't like, but understandable. Then you turn around, and after 'guessing'
that this person you did the find on is the Usurper, you 'reveal' a name that is not the name given to us by PS as the Usurper. That does not add up. It sounds to me as if you made a guess, pushed it out there, and are now trying to support it.

I find it rather odd the way this 'reveal' has played out, and so for the time being I must

Serc while I find your reveal interesting. I think that the case on Tiam is even more hogwash then the one that started out on you.i.e. you and Gamelon interacting. If you are a finder then for the safety of my faction I am going to have to vote you out. I suspect that even if your not lynched then you will probably be night killed. Revealed finders have a tendency to die especially ones that reveal early in the game. Of course I also suspect that Tiam will probably see a lot of night actions or at least attempted ones.

Hmm, well.

The NK argument would be good if tile location didn't come into play. As we saw last night, no one was killed. There is an element of luck involved in night actions. I wish I had said something earlier because my guess is that many of the people who got on the train early would remove vote if they were around.

Honestly I don't know what the Usurper would look like in a find this early in the game. I find Tiam's obsession with the role odd and that's why I suspect that of him. However, you'll see that I was telling the truth soon enough.

The name is right. Tiam's name is Cen Pi. I don't know if a find on the Usurper would return Sima Yi or not since they haven't split off to their own faction yet. For instance, the Emperor of each faction is supposed to know "most" of the names of people in his faction...does the Emperor whose faction is hiding the Usurper know about it? I don't know the answer.

It's interesting that Tiam has disappeared ever since I called him out on his name. I suppose he has nothing to gain by defending himself.
