Or it could be someone who wanted to get pressure off of Karosis? Or it could be someone who is just being a dick. Or emur made it up. I still haven't gotten confirmation from anyone.
It certainly could have been the usurper, but that doesn't seem any more likely that someone else.

This makes me wish I'd faked a few messages. Someone is laughing into their long billowy sleeve.
And seriously, if someone has an illumination about who is where Emur is(supposedly the message location), then that'll narrow down your suspect pool for Usurper.

So Silanah just pretty much revealed as Yan in an attempt to save Ruse's life. I find it interesting that most speculation is that Sima Yi is going to come out of the Yan group, as they are easily the largest. Unless I misread something, the Yan emperor is dead, which means that you two cannot actually know each other unless you are something other than simple Yan officers.
As a note, Silanah, the gorgonsun barbarians are the 'white riders', from the OP. I would guess they can move faster than a kingdom person, but that is just a guess.
I didn't reveal Yan. I was in a border town on the same night as several people. I agree that it would make sense balance wise for Sima Yi to come out of Yan, considering they don't have barbarians to contend with.

If Ruse comes back not a barb or cultist, I will happily come back to Karosis and string him up. If he does, however, come back barb or cultist, you and thyrllan are going to have some explaining to do, especially if he is Sima Yi.

You were in a border town on night 2?

Argh. No more location info coming from me. I don't intend to get killed tonight.
I will switch if it comes down to it last minute. But I'm holding my vote where it is for now.
Karosis has gotten off the hook SO MANY TIMES. This makes me think he's something

My only thought is that the barbarians probably don't have to have a friendly barbarian in a space they are moving to, especially if their faction size is only 2. It would make it impossible for them to move out of the capital cities next to their starting zones.
Which means that on night 2, if you had an illumination on a border town, there is no reason to think that there couldn't be a barbarian there with a move on day 1 and a move on day 2.

If they are recruited by Sima Yi and Yi's Emperor is still alive, I assume they'll continue to be a part of their original faction?
If not, they're perhaps dead in the water and we can lynch them asap.

Anyway, with so much info floating around, the best bet is to lynch Ruse - everything else under discussion hinges on that.

I don't know. That is a good question. I mean... if the faction was Yan and Emperor was still alive and a Xia player was recruited by Sima Yi, would the CF come back Xia? Yan? Cultist?

So from what I understand from you and Silanah and Thyrllan is that Barghast, Karosis, and Emurlahn are on a team, all know each other, and are railroading you, because Emurlahn is standing up for Karosis and lots of other people just copy Emurlahn, therefore anyone that votes for you must be on that team as well?

No. I can't say with any certainty about who might be aligned together.
But it is damn fishy that people follow Emur's lead so easily, and that Karosis keeps slipping from the spotlight. Barghast... I had him pegged as a carefully calculating player, which is why I'm surprised he's falling for an anonymous message.
I'm not some clairvoyant who wants you to believe everyone is working together deliberatly to railroad me.

Why was Thyrllan symping you so hard and why is Silanah working on misdirections as well if you are not a power role?

So anyone who doesn't agree with lynching me is automatically symping me because I'm a power player? I take back what I said, EVERYONE VOTING ME IS OBVIOUSLY WORKING TOGETHER TO RAILROAD ME AND THEY HAVE OFF THREAD COMMS. Do you ever cast a critical eye on your own reasoning?
I can only guess why. I think it's mostly because they have correctly surmised that a single anonymous message doesn't make a solid lynch target when considering everything else on thread.

So much deja vu I'm dizzy.
Osseric made the same mistake about notices. Suggesting Ruse is non kingdom because of the notices thing doesn't make sense, given that Osseric was kingdom too.
And, correct me if I'm wrong, but was it not only the last game day that we had a number of possible trains, then Emur came in, voted Galain and then lynch. Now we have Emur complaining (again) that the complications of the current trains are too much for his brain to handle, voting someone else (two someone elses actually) and matching the strongest train within three hours. On the basis of Notice which could have been sent by any official or the usurper.
What is this? Emur has voted, drop what you're doing and follow him? And no Emur, I'm not suggesting you're necessarily looking for followers, but you sure do seem to be finding them.
I know we had a weekend between the last game day and this one, but really!
Vote Karosis
Because in my opinion he's probably a barbarian. And screw your sheep train.
I thought this phenomenon was my imagination

you did miss something. Yan emperor ain't dead. we suspect it's tennes, though.
morning everyone, btw.
reading back on this spat so far, several interestin things stand out
1) Thyr is trying to defend Ruse. because he sees him as a fellow Lu straggler.
2) Silanah is defending Ruse.
interesting point that everyone seems to be foregoing: with JA being gone early on, Lu are the BEST pool to recruit from.
I've had several gut-inspired suspicions bout Silanah being Sima Yi. Ruse was pretty much outed as a JA symp (and thus Lu) on day 3.
if Ruse truns out to be Jin, i'lll bet Silanah's Sima Yi, trying ot protect her recruit.
As for people's accusations of me leading the train away from Karosis X days in a row: I stand by my previous statement. there's a lot of people in my location. some are barbs, others are kingdoms. i'm not sure who is who. Karosis has an equally good chance of being both. therefore, instead of risking to hit a teammate, I look elsewhere. given there's a bunch of people in this location (and since we all know who we are, due to our friendly mr. Illuminator), there's a bunch of people that probably feel that way.
