Ah, good morning people.
See this always happens when people don't examine the narrative they've been provided. Go back to the time I was posting. Now compare my posts to those who were active during the same time. Suddenly, my contributions are no less than the rest of the thread. This whole myth that I did not participate stems from some of you comparing my early posting to the posting history of people who had an entire day more of play than I do.
And that's why I'll keep my vote where it is.
You seem to have decided to latch on to Korbas, perhaps hoping to avoid being lynched if you're associated with the person we're least likely to lynch.
Of course I've decided to latch onto Korbas. What do you think this is? A regular killer vs innocents game? I knew I was a likely lynch candidate through no fault of my own and as I'd rather not be lynched I didn't see anything negative with joining a lynch on a low poster. Especially when that lynch was led by the moments big cheese.
It's interesting that some people try to turn that into a big deal.
There's not much else for me to say other than it can be a little frustrating when people continue to approach a faction game as a town vs killer setting, but there's nothing I can do about that.

Because I see Anthras perhaps following a master's votes, whereas Tellann seems to be playing "don't notice me" low-poster power-role possible style faction lead. I guess you'd have to read between the lines between my last couple posts to see that is what I was thinking, maybe. I thought it was pretty explicit.

Well, with the risk of being accused of diverting my own lynch train (which certainly influences this decision) I'm going to follow Korbas lead on this one.

I really don't trust Korbas. He keeps seeming to establish more and more rings of protection around himself, being untouchable as the first CF, directing lynching towards other people, and now has now been elevated to potential Narrator status as Croaker, which connotes neutrality backed by a lot of power in knowledge.
I for one do not like having an untouchable among us, especially when we only snipe at his ideas, wonder for whom he is covering, and yet follow his lead on lynches, plot line (yes, guilty here as well. I'm information starved too), and faction speculation.
I mean what else can we do? We don't have any other people admitting to being a CF and I would bet money that most of you know at least some of your teammates, except for RIs and maybe a wizard, soldier, or two. So it seems like we are just following his lead with a touch of cynicism to maintain 'objectivity.' AND WE DON"T EVEN KNOW WHO HE IS!
I actually have him currently pegged as a big cheese: Dominator, White Rose, or Lady. I don't want to give him more days if I can avoid it, fearing that he is waiting for an unlocking of abilities or a larger pool of recruited followers. Thus, even though it is a split vote (I do hope enough of you will follow, but it is a little late to have a sudden swing in votes I know), I must in good conscience:
Remove Vote
and
Vote Korbas
He needs to be dealt with unless someone can prove or [at least] convincingly argue he is relatively harmless (
).
Btw...
To clarify, I don't trust Tellan entirely either.
@Tellan - I do believe your reasons for low posting and I too offer sympathies seeing as I have had close family in the hospital as well and can thus empathize with your burden.
That aside, you are too close to Korbas which smacks of danger to me, so I won't fight against what appears is to be your lynching tonight. But again, I wish you and your family the best.

You're really overhyping it barg, were not all constantly following his lead. For the most part Im just completely ignoring him because I happen to like CFs and imho he probably doesnt have a VC beyond whatever his current employer's VC is and survive. He's not untouchable and I wouldnt be surprised if a losing fraction with a NK eventually takes him out to obscure their remaining numbers.
And as for him being the Dom/WR/Lady - if he were he would not have fake-revealed the CFs so early in the day when so many people hadnt yet checked in for the day leaving himself horribly exposed to a counter-reveal and killing himself as well as costing his faction such an important role. There wouldnt be any smarts in that at all.
So why you so eager to get rid of the CF bargy???!!!!
My thoughts were along these lines as well. If it is a deflection, makes me happier about a vote on Tellan.
Overhyping? Really? Would you rather me not talk bad about your only very trustworthy source of information? And moreover, if Tellan is on Korbas' team WHY THE FUCK DO YOU THINK KORBAS TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH TOMORROW IN HIS DAILY UPDATE?!
Oh, and please please please don't tell me you are naive enough to think he's just tailing his employer around and surviving with no real focus on a VC. Everyone has VCs. Period. Leader or no, they are each individuals own VC.
Ok, taking it down a notch. I said I don't trust Tellan, but as I guessed (and correctly so) he is getting lynched tonight. That's fine. I would prefer not to dawdle and get to the meat and potatoes, namely the only person in the game who has given us something to work with. Hell, we were looking at the PS suspiciously. So why do you think that Korbas is so trustworthy? Why are you so eager to keep him? On his side? Recognize some tidbits he twisted or left out that are to your advantage?
Furthermore, with Tellan in the bag, how is voting Korbas a deflection. I could just hide and wait until things heat up some more but I thought a vote in Korbas' direction would help you know how serious I was about him.
So yeah, go after the low posters. Kill 'em all. Just don't blame me if we miss the elephant in the room.

Just as two more votes drop on Tellan, we get a big deflection from Barghast onto Korbas. Then at the end of his long diatribe he goes out of his way to cast a little suspicion on Tellan...who's on his way to being lynched. The comments are odd, too - "I won't fight against what appears to be your lynching tonight"? That is exactly what his whole post is about, trying to get people to choose another lynch victim - a total contradiction to what he says. If the CF is real and can be trusted, it benefits cult the most to remove him, and trying to shift a couple of trains onto someone who just revealed CF is not a cautious move. For this reason I think we should
Vote Tellan
and see what Korbas gives us on his CF (hopefully...). And then we should look at Barghast, maybe, if nothing new has presented itself. Barghast protecting Tellan and targeting Korbas is the strongest evidence of cult play I've seen so far this game. Even if I'm wrong, though, we would still be heeding Barghast's warning of following Korbas (who is voting Anthras).
Was voting Anthras...
And why is it odd that I have two people I would like to see lynched. I prefer to go for the bigger threats first.

Barghast, I think it's you who is being naive.
Do you really believe that we are just blindly trusting Korbas? Did this game fill up with noobs when I wasn't looking?
The issue is not trust or not trusting - anyone with a CF power, coming out very early in the day, WHETHER THEY ARE LYING OR NOT, is not a move that someone who is high on the food chain in a faction would do. Ask yourself this, if you are/were the Dominator/Lady/WhiteRose or whatever - would you come out as CF guy?

I dunno. You seem to be expending a lot of energy supporting him. And how do you, if you don't happen to be in the know yourself, suppose we are supposed to figure out whether or not he is lying? And as far as I know, dunno about you, leaders can play both the smooth quiet Silencer game or a more spiky out in the open game. Hell, you don't seem to be willing to lynch him. Do you really believe he is the only one with CF powers?

Saying I don't believe he is playing like a leader =/= supporting him. I don't know who the fuck he's working for, and yes, I concede there could be a chance he's a bigwig. My complaint is that you seem to genuinely think that we're all going to allow him to lead us by the nose. There aren't that many idiots playing in Malazan mafia these days.

The Captain had us fighting a running engagement between all those little towns, covering the rear guard of the regular army, swelled and slowed down by the peasants they press-ganged into service. Anyone that was left was in turn recruited by the Rebel, apparently, sometimes family faced family over spear points. All we did was marching, fighting and counter-marching, and we lost all bearing of our surroundings. the fight was not going well, and rumours, the one even more outrageous than the next, were rampant, even amongst our own. The Limper was dead, the White Rose was found, Soulcatcher had disappeared, Whisper was the White Rose, the Lady was marshalling her forces... Raven was perhaps the only one who liked these trying times. "Sounds all like good news to me," he commented.

We finally decided to make a stand in the mountains. The Captain, the Lieutenant, Elmo and myself were in council. Constant contact with the enemy had made sure we had intimate knowledge about their formations, and a scout Raven had captured had revealed that morale with the Rebel was low: they numbered our force six times what we actually had. Then, in the morning, the Lady herself arrived on those carpet of hers, a few Taken in tow. She wasted no time in telling the Captain to get on the road and abandon the rear guard action, no matter what it might mean for the chances of her regular army. She and her Taken would put on a display, covering the passes with mist, snow and lightning storms. Before she left the meeting, her cronies were already at it.
As for me, well, this time around, she had no time whatsoever for me apart from throwing me that dazzling smile of hers once.
Mockra is dead.
Ruse is dead.
It is Day 3. 35 hours and 59 minutes remaining
