I still think Korbas told partial truth in his reveal. Telann reappeared just in time to divert a train. There are some good low poster candidates.
We have 8 hours to make a lynch. I can feel OK with different scenarios.
Out of low posters, I like Ruse's input a little more

why do you think i told you partial truth in the reveal? i haven't read the books and wiki is complicated at best so how would i make up stuff. in fact not just that but who would that benefit the most? i don't know who is on my faction or have any clues, i just get a coroner find and that's that.

Ok, I agree with Rashan about book analysis - I think we need to see how things play out further since it seems speculating on book timeline is getting us no where. And I learned a new word, I'm embarassed to admit I didn't know what an 'omnibus' was.
I, for one, am ok with giving Tellan the benefit of the doubt (for now). I know some people can lie about real life, but an accident in the family seems like a legit reason to be low posting.
As for Anthras, I've got written in my notes 'possible connection with Liosan', who is another low poster candidate. I don't remember why I wrote that, so I'll have to go back and look at their interaction again.

It isn't just the quantity of posts, that drew attention. It was the content, or lack-there-of, brought about the votes.
As for Anthras, I'm curious about people who will throw out votes quickly in a faction game, as it means you could be part of a smallish power-faction. However, the most interesting thing there, to me, was him following Korbas' votes fairly quickly twice.
If I was looking for a faction lead, I'd be more apt to go Tellann than Anthras at this point in time because of that.
This!!
I agree with this. The first time and he followed and then he followed again. More suspicious imo than Tellan's low content and posts

Well, with the risk of being accused of diverting my own lynch train (which certainly influences this decision) I'm going to follow Korbas lead on this one.

And that's why I'll keep my vote where it is.
You seem to have decided to latch on to Korbas, perhaps hoping to avoid being lynched if you're associated with the person we're least likely to lynch.
you followed my vote twice.

so that is looking at 4 factions now, not three. So i'm guessing Barghast is on "soldier of the Lady" faction or one that hasn't been mentioned yet because he seems to think i'm full of shit. That is why he has a boner for me I reckon.
Also, do we think there was a vig on night one or do we think someone was blocked from killing OR someone healed me?
wifom territory i suppose.
i may be back on in a few hours to look through the thread more.

The Captain had us fighting a running engagement between all those little towns, covering the rear guard of the regular army, swelled and slowed down by the peasants they press-ganged into service. Anyone that was left was in turn recruited by the Rebel, apparently, sometimes family faced family over spear points. All we did was marching, fighting and counter-marching, and we lost all bearing of our surroundings. the fight was not going well, and rumours, the one even more outrageous than the next, were rampant, even amongst our own. The Limper was dead, the White Rose was found, Soulcatcher had disappeared, Whisper was the White Rose, the Lady was marshalling her forces... Raven was perhaps the only one who liked these trying times. "Sounds all like good news to me," he commented.

So, with a nod to Barghblast to make sure he understands I am assuming for a moment Korby isn't full of dung,
Soulcatcher was its own faction - lead by Morgy. Mockra is our first person of the Lady's faction.

So what do we make of the scenes?
Considering PS has played the setup close to their chests, I doubt we'll get an answer as to whether there are clues in the scenes or not. I think things can be gleaned though, like how HP was pretty clearly a rebel before Korbas CF'd him.
It sounds like it is possible that the rebels can recruit...if there is an RI town faction as the scene would suggest.
The rumors could mean something or not, since we haven't seen the Limper's death for example, but Soulcatcher was lynched (again, assuming Korbas is telling the truth).
Edit: changed thinks to things

well well well, only two nks this time, so maybe one of the 3 kills on day one took out a killer, or maybe tellan was a killer....
i can understand how the tellan vote started, If it hadnt been so early in the day i would of joined a vote there too. But afterwards tellan came back and was posting, and was posting content, so why did you decide to keep lynching him?
Im not quite sure i saw the reason for the votes on anthras, i will go back and have a look at that when i get a chance.
10 players left, if we have a lynch and 2 NKS again tonight that takes us down to 7, so im guessing its D day either tomorrow or the day after

i think it could have started out with 5 factions of 3 and a recruiter role/faceless man, we have seen dominator, rebel, lady and soulcatcher so that is at least 4 factions. Thoughts?

I think Soulcatcher (morgoth) was korabas'(dibs) captain/leader and they may have another or some more in their faction.

No blatant clues. There may be the occassional tiny spoiler or (thread reference), but if we do not allow role and name reveals from players it would be real bad form for us to release faction/role/game/mechanic information whenever the whim strikes us or when it makes a good story.
So, scenes say what they say, what you read into it is all your own business and can be a brilliant revelation, complete nonsense or even a really nasty pitfall
