Not a problem. I have never played the games but I know the story. This did a really good job selling the core conflict.

Fair warning its sort of an intro rather than a complete story but it's fantastic.

Do you see that wall? Hit it with a whip. Roast dinner will fall out.

See this is the solution to world hunger we are all waiting for.

Walls SHOULD respond to BDSM abuse by dropping cooked dinners.

Finally started on Your Lie in April. Episode one was really good and I feel like this has a good chance to be my feel-good, uplifting anime of the moment.

I started my hero academia based off this chicks suggestion at work, so far quite funny.

I originally didn’t cause their hair/costume seems over the top

Nice! a good pick, My Hero Acadamia season three is looking a bit weird at the moment.
I’m not too sure I like the current arc. I enjoy the funny bits but it feels like we should be hitting some heavier subject matter this far in.

On that note, I gave phantasm carnival a try last night.

I am not a Fate fan, although I loved Zero. This is like the complete opposite to that and while initially quite funny I think theres alot of Jokes I’m missing so I just let it be. Still casually enjoying Space Dandy Dub.

Now I’m on to either Tsukihime, Shiki or Devils-line.

Castlevania had me looking for comparative Anime on monsters...so far nothing stellar. I’d like Devils-line if it didn’t feel too much like Dance in the Vampire Bund had a highly Illegal baby with Tokyo Ghoul.

I think Shiki is creeping me out sufficiently. Daylight watch for sure.

Finished an older show called Bokurano. Main attraction was that 10 years ago the name was being passed around and the opening is pretty cool.

It was okay, if you enjoy battle royale type shows this will be up your alley. Premise is that 15 kids sign up to play a video game to save the earth. Only to find out that after every battle
Spoiler

Had some cool characters to an extent, though some of the backstories were kinda meh... some of the characters really didn't care much for. Overall was an ok show, worth the watch but not something you should go out of your way to watch it unless its 100% up your alley.

Thinking of watching Shirobako again, that was a great show. I really wish they were going to do more of it but I haven't heard anything about any new seasons.

It's really good I would definitely recommend watching it. It's basically about a bunch of girls that work in different departments for companies that make anime.

It's the best show since FLCL.

Sorry what's FLCL? I'm not hip on the anime acronyms.

Wow I haven't heard of that but reading that plot it sounds pretty crazy.

Ha according to your profile you're only a year older than me...
I just didn't get into anime until 5 or so years ago (barring pokemon, digimon, dragonball z that I watched as a kid), haven't gone back and watched all of the classics yet.
