OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, so, as we all know, the "Attack on Titan" OP goes with almost ANYTHING you can think of, right? Well, here's another glorious example...

Attack on WALKEN. :p

Yeah, something like that. The original is pretty awesome too. But with that song? FTW.

Also FTW? Attack on Titan episode 8!

Actually, it was originally the WEAPON OF CHOICE video for Fatboy Slim.

Wow, the video is edited to time up with the beats REALLY well. Consider me impressed with whomever layered the track over top. Great stuff!

Ah, that's the one, thanks Quick! And yeah, the editing work on the video really makes it, I think...

In other news; the Black Rock Shooter OVA is...not a patch on the series. I kinda figured, seeing as the series was more-or-less the revamped, polished, full-polish edition of the idea, while the OVA was more of a off-the-cuff "see how it does" kind of deal, but still, moderately disappointing, I guess. It was decent enough but the story could have used another half hour and a bit more extrapolation (while the series is the good kind of "WTF is going on?!", the OVA was more of the "Uhm...so...wait, what?" kind). Ah well, had to watch it. Makes me want to rewatch the series, though. :p

Last episode of AoT was great. I really enjoy the show's fast pace.

Just watched up to Ep 7 (8 is still set to premium til Saturday), and I am still loving this show!

Also, when was the last anime show you watched where the score within each ep was this varied and gorgeous?! I mean hell, it can be sad, uplifting, soaring, haunting, triumphant....like whoever is the composer for this show...man I'd like to shake their hand. It's a job, well fucking done!

EDIT: using BK's linkage (watchanimeon.com) I was able to watch Ep 8....

...have I told everyone how much I fucking love this show?

Like for realz.

Man, now we gotta wait for Ep 9!

Just remembered Speed Grapher; Anyone else watched this/ I think I watched about half the series 5 or 6 years ago and vaguely remember liking it. Planning to watch it again less someone says not to.

It's kind of cool to watch a few different shows, find that I like certain ones, look up the directors and writers and find that they have common projects in between them. I can follow people and see how they branch off or colloaborate, instead of just randomly picking shows and hoping something is good.

The most recent example is the people behind the company "Trigger" like Hiroyuki Imaishi, they've worked on FLCL, the Evangelion movies and Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt (what I'm watching now, it's a demented, adult version of Powerpuff Girls basically).
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

all right, you lot have dragged me into AoT by random chance, I'm loving crunchyroll as well

Give me some good recos to watch - no kiddie crap please. It seems all offerings involve high school dramas or cute fuzzy monsters
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.
