PS - I'm not lying; Tatt is confused about her books. Or someone is. Mesaana makes it through TGS.

well, that's good to know, i haven't seen the spoilers, as Tattersail said its better for me to read it, Patience is a Virtue, i guess,

'cause believe it or not, Mesaana's my favorite Forsaken along with Semirhage, Moghedien and Lanfear a near tie, Graendal not, as i don't like sexed-up forsaken, Lanfear i can forgive cause she's considered the most beautiful woman alive back in AoLs, so i can understand the lust and envy she generates to others, i don't consider Aran'gar as he's a Male,

if there's a lot of cracking in TGS, that's good, i'm really itching for it now, but right now CoT is a struggle, i'll be putting up all nighters for this one, as i want to rush my read,
tomorrow hopefully i'll be acquiring KoD finally,

hehe, apologies, i'm a guy, i just couldn't think of any user name aside from anomander rake, and as i was playing final fantasy x & x-2 for nostalgia, and since i got nothing new to do before, since i just got finished from reading TCG that time, and i have this BIG CRUSH for Yuna of FFX, so sorry if it has you mislead,

i'm now 3-4 chapters now in COT, it has plot points even going so far as ACOS and POD, my memory of those is a little blurred, as i havent read this in a while,
so i will ask:
1) who attempted to kill Dobraine?
2) who killed Tylin?
3) The Task Rand set for Loial and the Asha'man was the Waygates right? is it to block those or destroy them?

may ask for more once i'm into more chapters, i'm putting up an all-nighter for this one, so i hope you'll forgive me for asking many stuff

To set guards on them. Karldin was for the gateways; Loial was for talking to the Elders at each stedding.

Ok, thanks and my apologies, my memory for most of those have been stuffed in the clouds, but i'll do a full re-read once i got those 2 remaining books i have yet to purchase, but hopefully not before this end of month, as my budget for KoD and ToM was snuffed
i'm now on Perrin's story arc in the book, idk, but i find Perrin's story/profile since the 1st day i read WoT to be quite unexciting, almost boring, he's so emo and got worse when he was paired with Faile, who is so annoying,

the Faile-kidnapped-by-Shaido story arc begun in WH right?
Masema was influenced by a forsaken isn't he, in the alluded form of Rand/the Dragon Reborn?

Technically it began at the end of TPOD, though Perrin didn't find out she was kidnapped until the beginning of WH.

Yes, but I think he just started out being crazy and once he became influential one of the Forsaken decided to take advantage (likely Moghedien).

yeah, now that you mention it, i remember now, sorry, all i could remember from TPOD is that long-winded Bowl of the Winds plot, w/c begun in LOC isn't it?
in WH, Perrin was floundering seaching for his wife, i will be reading the Choedan Kal scenes later, as that is the best scene in WH that i liked since FOH,

makes sense, as she was mostly in the South-West part of the world, it isn't entirely impossible, and well since Elayne's entourage passed Ghealdan in FOH, where she resurfaced later after TSR, she may have,
it also adds "Chaos" for the "Lord of Chaos," isnt it,

if i may ask, in COT, most of One Power users have felt the surge of the One Power isnt it, so roughly, how far did the resonance reached? did Elayne & co felt it, and as far as Egwene's?

From what's in the books and what RJ said about it, anyone in the world would have been feeling the Cleansing. As for the Bowl of the Winds, they found it in Tel'aran'rhiod near the beginning of LOC, but they didn't leave for Ebou Dar until the end of the book. Mostly it was dealt with in ACOS, but they used it in the beginning of TPOD, and the weather changed around the middle of the book.

yeah, that's one big, momentous event in the books, and w/ the help of the Saangreal(sp?) in Cairhien and Tremalking, the use of the OP was overwhelming to say the least, so i guess the Keys and the 2 giant Saangreal would have to be a crucial factor in Tarmon Gaidon, but didn't the Keys dissolved or something? i seem to recall something like that,

BTW, i'm curious, why/how did Galina know Faile, but failed to recognize Morgase/Maighdin? i find that somewhat impossible, as she's a Queen, and not just any queen, as the Queen of Andor, AND a once-novice in the White Tower, and i doubt any Aes Sedai wouldn't recognize her, and ever since after the events in TGH, she made quite a fuss about Elayne disappearing in the WT,

ok, i'm nearing the end of my read of COT, 200+ pages down now, just a little bit more,
not much happening, mostly the usual machinations and schemes w/in schemes, plotting and counter-plotting, haven't seen a shadow of the Forsaken,
aside for Halima/Aran'gar, who is now once again in the Aes Sedai camp, did she/he fought in the Choedan Kal? can't remember, i know Mesaana was absent, she didn't heed the summons of Shaidar Haran/Moridin,
still hate Egwene, and i'm really annoyed with these petty, conniving, manipulating Aes Sedais, they're supposed to be the Pillars and Strength of the world, but they're reduced to being petty and squabbling children,
most of the book was focused on the events of the Choedan Kal, and how they reacted to it, though its still missing a POV of the Black Tower, will be good to know how they in turn reacts to it,
i'm more of an Asha'man fan, be it either Mazrim Taim/Logain factions or Rand's own,

didn't the rebel Aes Sedai, already dispatched an Embassy for the Black Tower?
or is it just an embassy for the Dragon Reborn?

i may be finished later in the day, and hopefully will be moving on to KOD next,
