Man, I've just had a facepalm moment and that was just from the notes...

Obvious spoiler though I don't know if it has been noted in earlier books:

Not sure if I'd forgot that or...

Aye, as I wrote that I began to wonder if I didn't know that previously but it was a nice reminder.

Why is Wheel of Osheim released 5 days late in the US?

the mysteries of publishing!

My other 5 books all came out in the US a few days before they were released in the UK.

Can anyone direct me to a synopsis of Liars Key and Prince of Fools. I want to get stuck in the wheel this weekend without having to do a re-read and while I remember a fair bit I think a recap would be good.

There is a summary of key events at the start of The Wheel.

Other than that I haven't really been able to find any in depth summaries online.

As Champ said, the quick rundown that Lawrence does at the beginning of OSHEIM should bring you up to speed Cause. :p

Just finished.

What an excellent excellent finish to the trilogy.
The finale was great, not wanting to spoil, and tags being a pain in the ass on the phone, the final showdown was brilliant. Especially the family involvement.

The pace didn't let up, I recall there being a few lulls in Liars Kay. overall Id say I'll need a full trilogy reread in about a months time to gauge which actually was my favourite, its hard to judge a book just set down against a book read nearly a year ago.

Another good read.

This time though and I cant really say why the fact that Jalans story and the story of Jorge would so clearly link up bothered me. Robbed the finale of some of its tension I thought

I finished Wheel over the weekend and loved it. I agree with Maccy that it was a great conclusion to the trilogy. I too am really itching for a series after Jorg's death. Is there any magic left in the world. If so how does it work.

Spoiler

How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

Good to hear!

The next three years are going to be all about this:

Unless they let me put out more than a book a year. I'm currently about a third of the way through the last book of the trilogy.

I might return to the Broken Empire or its wider world after that ... don't know yet. Maybe some spaceship sci-fi :Rodeo:
