Finished Metro Last Light Redux. Got the good ending.
Solid shooter, fun mutant bosses, good stealth model, though the throwing knives are totally OP once you get the hang of them.
Gonna move on to the original Resident Evil, once it's downloaded.

Just finished Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.
I ignored this game when it came out because I thought all the marketing material seemed bad but this was a real surprise of a game.
Hellblade is one of the best games I've played. It's characterization and the way it tells the story through gameplay is unparalleled.
The depiction of Senua's insanity and the pain she is going through is hard to suffer through. This is a game that is uncomfortable to play. It's stressful and disoriating. In a great way.
I'd recommend this game to anyone with the caveat that if you have mental issues or have loved ones who've suffered through schizophrenia or psychosis, this might not be for you. This is a dark, sorrowful game.

I loved that game, Apt! I’m happy you enjoyed it too. It’s something unique and wonderful that game.

It is. It's a game that feels meaningful in a way few games achieve.

50 hours into Dragon Quest XI. Got all the stuff I need, approaching the end, taking it slow because I don't want it to end. And then shit hits the fan and I discover I'm only halfway through the game

Yessir. At least, I think it's "Hard".
EDIT: starting to make progress? kinda. I found a storage box, so now I'm less worried about all the crap I've been picking up, since I got somewhere to store it.
Now, I just need to find that oil supply.... and hopefully some bullets, b/c Chris has terrible, terrible aim.

Chris is hardmode anyway, but on Hard he's full on masochism. At least Jill gets the lockpick and grenade launcher.

I'm about half way through Uncharted Lost Legacy.
I just ran into an elephant, got a chill elephant ride and met it's family. This was one of the best video game moments I've had.
Anyway the rest of the game is great as well. It's constructed around a sort of small open hub world that makes for a better sandbox to explore compared to Uncharted 4s very linear design.

I’m jamming on red dead one, alternated with some Skyrim on switch and Minecraft with my kid. I also found out that there is a sequel to comet crash, which was one of my favorite tower defense games ever and the sequel appears to be more of the same. Next up I think I might check out god of war, but I’m also sitting on uncharted 4 and I feel that deserves a play through especially since I already have it.

lockpick? where'd be the fun in that?
Ooh, a shotgun!
I got fuel canteens. Now I just gotta figure out how to set zombies on fire....
Also, I opened all the sword doors. now I just need to figure out where I can find the next key... I suppose that'll be the helmet.(Edit: nope, wrong. It was

I loved Lost Legacy. It was like a greatest hits package. The last couple of hours are non-stop awesome.

ArmA 3 and, soon, DCS. I'm concerned for my sanity.
Though seriously, ArmA is one of those games that I have wanted to play (and owned) for many years, but when I first got it my internet was nowhere near good enough for multiplayer, and the learning curve was ridiculous. Today, I've got two-three friends committed to playing it together, and there have been enough advances in the way of context-sensitive controls and mods, that the infantry experience is pretty easy to get into. Even the jets are not impossible on KB+M - though helicopters still elude me. But as I'm taking the plunge with DCS anyway, gonna have a joystick and throttle setup sorted soon.
Bring on the simulators....

Finished Lost Legacy. Great side story. I think they neutered Nadine a bit compared to her character in U4, Chloe on the other hand got a lot of character growth. She was very well acted and perhaps my new favorite Uncharted character.
Also played some more Anthem demo. I want to like this game but it feels unfinished. Menus are bad, combat lacks balance, guns feel under powered, mission structure is confusing. It's just not very fun.
Unless there's some revelation that the actual game is much better than the demo, like actual story, I'm gonna wait and see if they can pull off a Destiny year 2.
I'll check out Metro Exodus or Division 2 instead.

RE burning them - you should be able to get some lighter fuel somewhere. I can't remember where it is though. I feel like it's in the main mansion.
I can't quite remember which key is next but I think you're off outside for a bit. Hope you like tentacles...

No, I got the fuel canteen and I found several kerosene jugs to refil it from.... I'm just not sure how to actually use it.
Anyhow, I found a clue and now I need a collar... and to make sure I get to that encounter with some bullets. I wish I could find more shotgun shells....

Ah, well, to use the canteen you need to make sure the lighter is working. From memory, Jill has to find some fuel for the lighter but I don't recall if Chris would.
To use it, stand next to a zombie corpse and use the fuel canteen, then use the lighter.
In terms of the collar, there's a particular door you need to take (won't say where unless you really want to know). Have an explore, don't forget to use your map.

I had the first encounter with the collar-thing Sun night. I just need to replay and conserve enough bullets to survive
