I would also like to add all the spoof movies titled Genre Movie after Date Movie, which was a little bit funny, to my list of movies that should be burned, along with the people who directed, wrote and produced it. KILL THEM ALL WITH FIRE!!

Ugh, Date Movie was horrible! Never watched any of the others (Epic Movie etc) after that! In fact I should have realised after watching Scary Movie 2, 3 & 4...

Oh yes Date Movie. I watched it because of Alysson Hannigan and did not remotely anticipate how awful it would be (hadn't seen anything in Scary/Epic etc movie franchise).

Truly a lesson in how not to do a spoof.

The only good bit was the cat on the toilet.

That 'franchise' became terrible after they stopped being at all subtle about what they were parodying. Not Another Teen Movie and Scary Movie are the only ones of those sort that I can actually watch because of it (not that either were all that subtle to begin with anyway, but it was much less overt).

Agreed I've since seen Scary Movie which was better.

Beyond having been written by the crazy ass head scientologist L. Ron Hubbard (who didn't die, but strangely disappeared on his yacht!?!), and being so awful my eyes burn all the way through....BATTLEFIELD EARTH has two scenes that make me utterly RAGE....one is when they demonstrate the exploding collars....by panning away OFF CAMERA!!!! Are you shitting me, like this movie isn't bad enough?

Other part...oh, hey...remnants of humanity... here are some fully fueled harrier jets for you...the fuel stayed in them for a thousand years...yup. No evaporating here. Nope.

Yeah, it kinda went downhill very fast after those two. Not Another Teen Movie is quite funny at times, and it had a "good" cast. Also, Chris Evans.

Skyline....... end of chat
"I think i was a bad person before. Before this time. I do not try to be good now but i am not bad. Perhaps if i try harder i may get a better hand dealt next time? But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "

Riiiiiiiiiiiise ...

It has been 13 years. What has been the shittiest of the shit that you have seen since?

I'm going to throw Rebel Moon out there. I just wish I could throw it further. :p

I did start keeping track of this in recent years on letterboxd, for personal reference, so that means I can pull up a bottom five right quick. These are post-2011 movies that got "half a star" from me:
Batman v Superman -- this remains the low point of superhero movies.
Old -- I don't usually call things "so bad it's good" but this one's an exception. Genuine lunacy that I watched twice during a rental period and would recommend without hesitation.
30 Miles to Nowhere -- this movie isn't famous, but it's a truly horrible cabin-in-the-woods style horror movie I ran across on a streamer that does every single thing wrong. This one's "so bad it's bad".
Vacation (the reboot with Ed Helms) -- might be weird to hate a low stakes throwaway comedy like this, but I did hate it.
Bright -- these aren't necessarily in any order, except this one. For me this was the worst of the worst.

They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Do you mean The Tomorrow War, with Chris Pratt?

I liked it, but I will agree it was probably not among the best of movies.

Our friend, Tsundoku, has thrown in Rebel Moon. I will up the ante with the follow-up movie, Rebel Moon: Scargiver. A movie so horrifyingly bad its only upside, and even that remains questionable, is that makes the first one look even just a little bit better.

Screw you all, and have a nice day!

I should have clarified I meant both parts of Rebel Moon but ... meh ...
Otherwise, 100% agreed with Primey.

I see your recent rejected Star Wars effort, and raise you The Avengers.

No, not the Marvel Comics industry breaking 2012 movie, rather the 1998 brain breakingly atrocious film based on the much beloved 60s tv series that somehow managed to star Uma Thurman, Ralph Fiennes, and Sean Connery as a scene chewing baddie with a weather control device, and yet suck on every conceivable level and a few that had to be invented.
