Pretty sure there is a bus to Cambridge. I know, because I checked when I booked accommodation there (going on the Friday, to do sightseeing and stuff, so got two nights accom) and pretty sure there is a bus to Hetan's general vicinity. Heck, I think the stop where the bus goes by is like 5 minutes from where I'm staying.

The citi 4 bus takes you to Cambourne and the stop is about a 8-10 minute walk from the house. I've sent information to Alt about this.
Previous years we've picked up from the station at around 12.30 - 1.00.

You guys need to get yourself organised so that we know what time to do the station run - or alternatively if you are arriving later you'll have to gang together to share taxi costs. Mez is talking about 3-ish so late comers could meet with her or with Dag or even both! :p

Come on peeps - get it sorted. :p

Well I can be there anytime as I'm in London the day before.
STD mentions 12.30 at kings cross, if other people are agreeable say aye, I have no idea if this is an acceptable time.

Who else will be travelling form London?

OK, I looked up train times and there's one from King's Cross that leaves at 12:15. I propose we catch this train. So meet there at 12 (because you just know that someone's going to be a few minutes late). Train arrives at Cambridge at 13:00 on the dot, according to National Rail.

Who's with me? *waits for stirring cheer*

Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

I can be at the station for one. I'll have Stone Monkey with me and he'll presumably go to his hotel to check in etc, so I guess I can take 3 or 4 at that time (depending on whether he wants to get back in the car with us). Maybe Hetan could scoot round at 2? I dunno her plans but I'll provisionally say I'll get in at 13.00 to get Mac, STd and maybe Toby.

Can we tie Toby to the roof and let him projectile vomit turning us into a disgusting tank?

I can jump on top of Messremb's motoring machine and turn this into A BATTLE OF BILE (book 8 of A Song of Ice and Fire, available never)
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I will be hungover, but I will make that 12.15 train and bring my best hangover vomit for Jim's car.

Goldblum, i charge you with ensuring we get on the train to Kings X in time to catch this 12.15 train you mention. FAILURE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED

I will be attending. My friend will unfortunately not, he has to work. (It's a fucker having 3 jobs and a student loan to pay back.... =P)

I was planning it around him driving down from Manc but as that is now out of the question I need to make other arrangements.

If there's a spare seat I'd love to jump in with someone. If not, I'll get a train ticket and hope for the best.

Either way is fine. =)

I assume this is Dan/Eeeekwibble? If so, i'll take you, but you'll need to be at mine by 8.30 mate opposite 5th Ave in town. Give me a PM

That now leaves me with only 3 spare spaces, so that'll be Jeff Goldblum, the Chundering Cutpurse and Theobald Wolf Tone. At 1pm.

I'm not going to be able to make it after all :), dad is working too far off to be able to take me to get the train and the buses are just a major headache. Ah well, hopefully another year.

I can be there at 2 pm. If you're coming to pick people up around that time, I would, of course, be grateful if you could squeeze me in as well. But if it's only me, it's no problem at all, I can always get a taxi or one of those charming local buses. ;)
The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.
