Ah, but you see, what i find weird right now is that his attention is on two people. They're different cases, too. And that I find odd.

As for gut not being enough: there are 15 people in the game, on how many do you have a real read? I'd say I'm limited to about 6, and a few of those are mostly because I am online and posting at the same time as they do. I have an opinion on a few others, but it'd require some reading back or someone else making a case before I'd call it a read.

Also a funny observation: those of you who voted late yesterday for Silencer are completely off that track right now, when one could add to the 'case' that existed back then that today, he's doing his utmost best to drop off the radar.

All he did was speculate on rules, so far. Of course, he'll be online soonish, so that may change.

I suppose i'll have to re-read it. The way I saw it, he sees two people vote Tat, one of them makes a case day 2, while ruffling his feathers and dissapearing w/o response (shin), while the other comes on and follows the vote (DiBs). in my mind, DiBs is an appendage to the Shin case, as a possible partner scum.

But the thrust appears to be on Shin. which is why I voted him, seeing the reaction a single vote garnered.
and, as far as impressions and gut goes, you seem to be more erratic that usual in pushing trains, and that first post/case at the Dude came out of nowhere, which is partially the reason I looked at it. didn't want to bring this up, since it's all gut and meta, but, yeah.

Hehehe, may be he read the dibs guide on how to treat cases against oneself: ignore the first few prods and votes, then laugh it off, then defend when it seems serious to avoid being seen as jumping.

Well, dibs voted Tattersail for a very specific reason, whereas Shin followed my initial reasoning. And the Dude himself stated earlier that he didn't expect scum early on the train, yet now makes a case against 2 of the early voters, one part based purely on reasoning about dibs' playstyle because he is not all over the place.

Now, we all know dibs, and we all know that he is all over the place when roled in a certain way, but there are several possibilities still. Drawing attention to that feels scummy.

As far as me being erratic - well, I had some time on my hands yesterday and saw an opening to push the game to serious business territory. Normally I wait for either a dose of Day 2 Syndrome or until I see a real pattern emerging, this time, I was a tad bit irritated with the amount of spam and saw someone jump far higher than warranted.
The fact that tattersail and I are in adjacent timezones also meant we could back-and-forth pretty fast, which may have helped me pushing it, too.

incidentally, in response to Silencer's comment about the abrupt lack of Silencer attention.

the case on him was that he was a symp. if he is, he hasn't given his master away. and voting off a suspected symp is a last resort effort. and we're nowhere near that point yet.

As to the underlined part...This is a blatant lie. or you are just shooting from the hip. Tapper points out that that When I voted I brought Silencer to 5 votes tattersail only had 4. and ment had some votes as well. To me, this has the look of someone subtly trying to push a lynch. After Tapper calls Shin out on his *Cough* lie *Cough* mistake Shin doesn't even acknowledge... he just brushes it under the rug. Here are his next 2 posts.

As to the underlined - you're right, "voted 30 minutes from the end" isn't technically correct. You voted a bit before that, but your last post was 30 minutes before day ended. The inconvenient truth is my point still stands regardless of the actual time of your vote - you voted for the secondary candidate, who was at best suspected a symp so would provide no information, and didn't bother to make sure that town got a lynch.

We have to accept that you had a meeting. That's fine with me. It would have been nice if you'd said something like "Well, that looks like a lynch - I can't stick around. C-ya!"

And I agree with Ment on his vote for me in that - Tapper? Wow, that seemed like some heavy-handed sympage.

with Tattersail needing 5 more votes.

it was a bit later that it became 7 for Silencer and 6 for Tattersail, and then I switched to Tattersail, looking at the old vote count

this particular bit of misinterpretation has been bugging me most of yesterday.

unless there was a second vote I didn't see or smth....

Again Tapper. You are putting words into my mouth. My case is on Shin. I said dibs looked suspicious but that isn't who my case is on or who I am implicating. Dibs has given me nothing suspicious other than his place on a train and my Gut. Notice how I am not voting him based just on gut. Thats a quick way to a scum victory. You seem to feel this is ok. I don't. So to all those who say I have a case against dibs. Stop. It's against shin.

But The Dude was there for the flurry of Tattersail votes - he was posting after what should have been the hammer (not knowing Roldom was dead).

It looked dodgy to me, which is why I brought it up. However, now The Dude said he had to go to a meeting, and I think it's fair to believe him. As of now I'm not planning on voting for him, despite his OMGUS case on me.

Ok, Tapper's main point seems to be gut-feeling and in the post he votes, he dismisses most of his own points right away. That seems like symping and the one most likely symped is Shin. Also Tapper yesterday got on the Tattersailtrain after Shin.
