OOC: OK, now, I am going to be absent from tomorrow morning through to Sunday evening my time. I'm going to propose a standard weekend break across the board, though you are all welcome to continue posting, as long as you don't advance the story so far such that my input is required (or, rather, you can advance to such a point but no further, obviously).

I will be back on around 7pm Sunday NZDT to catch up and participate, and I will be around for parts of Monday. Following that, however, I am going tramping for a further three days (Tuesday through Thursday), so unfortunately you guys will be abandoned once again. The necessities (or is that luxuries?) of RL intrude, it seems.

Hopefully this rather large period of absence does not heavily impact our game, and I'll forever hate myself if it does. My apologies, again.

I'd make one last round of posting, except I believe that one of my character's is unconscious, awaiting transportation to a safe® place, and the other is clinging for dear life to a plummeting lift, awaiting the miraculous intervention of a tech-priest enginseer...unfortunate timing, hehe.

OOC: For me, it doesn't really matter - I'll be in a solo situation where I can flesh out my character a bit. You might want to leave a few instructions for the guys in the action scenes so they have time to write plenty of stuff without stagnation .

I'd really like to turn the Inquisitor into full on NPC but I'm thinking it would ruin Silencer's plot.
He should send a mass PM to all involved when he returns.

If this were a RL game I'd suggest a side story with the same characters to pass the time. Though on here it becomes far more confusing.

after consideration ive decided that the data sheet i recieved may be a little over powering...im tempted to rewrite the post, just saying that the 2 cultists who were pretending to shoot at me actually managed to clip me and hit the dataslate, so the information is damaged but not completly unretrivable, and then travaz can try to repair the slate or get bits of info back a piece at a time, what do you think?

Guys, I am truly so sorry...I've abandoned this for far too long already, but I have to beg your patience until the New Year has swung around. Between family, a couple of RL crises, and commitments elsewhere of a more time-sensitive nature, I just haven't had the time or will to get around to this, and it's been killing me to leave you all hanging, and I keep worrying that it will die if I don't get back to it, but...gah.

Seriously, just hang in there as long as you can, please. I should be back up and running in a couple of days to resolve all the stuff I've missed, and I know I said that before but then I got swamped again with Christmas and stuff, so I'm hoping this time I'll actually get free.

Feel free to open a "back-story" thread for your character if you want to develop their history while you wait, too. No-one else can post in-character, it should just be your character and events happening around them at your discretion, should you choose to do that. One thread per character, I think.

Just a suggestion.

If I don't get back into this after New Year's I will personally flay myself alive after sending one of you the plot outline to carry on without me, because I will be so pissed with myself.

Don't beat yourself up over it dude, you're doing a great job so far. It's a crazy time of year, and you seem to have a lot on your plate at the best of times.

I suggest everyone chillax and maybe do that backstory thing. Things don't really tend to stabilise until maybe a couple of weeks into the new year anyway.

OK, the entire chunk of text I had down as backstory has now definitely been lost from a computer fuckup, which sucks, but Silencer should be back sometime soon (I remember hearing the 9th but I'm sure a week or so extra to relax can't hurt) so we might get it restarted soon. Which would be nice.
