Any idea when you might flip the switch Mess?

Just have. Can't do Amplified on Realms alas.

Are we going to try to do a shared project this time or are we going to spread out and swarm this world, transforming it into something we find acceptable, each in their own way, by their own hand, letting only the great Mojang guide our picks?

Why don't we do something different this time?

Do a big collabo base and try to complete all endgame content together - not just beating the dragon, but beating a wither etc... too. We've done the spread-out thing a bunch of times now.

plus share all the loot - have a floor paved with diamonds for example. Mob spawner/grinders. Cool giant piston doors. I feel like everybody could find a niche or help with somebody else's if we're all pooling materials.

The mountain biome was good for that (if there's one nearby), plus has the advantage of abundant granites - which look cool.

I'm down. I'll be getting on tonight, if no one else has been on by then I can start scouting out good lair positions.

Sounds good. I don't much care where we set up. I discovered the mountains are fun because you can build "in" instead of building up...and one of my favourite builds so far was the desert temple, just for overall looks.

We don't necessarily need to be near any biome in particular. We can always mount mining expeditions and transfer materials back home via ender chests.

If I can keep myself from building stuff this time, I'm particularly keen on trying out the brewing mechanics and setting up the infrastructure required to generate mass amounts of materials for it.

I'd set up a moutntain-top room and field (-225, 200) before checking back here. Building myself a little shelter, got spare beds if people want them - saving the sheep for wool farming. There's cows and chickens round too, need to keep some for breeding up so please don't eat them all.

Got a mine at around -150, 375., intersects a chasm.

Good to roll to wherever folks want to do stuff

Ok I've found Mess' mountain hideaway. Pretty easy to get from spawn. You should spawn with a mountain on your left and a forest behind you. It's right up that mountain.

Probably going to be doing some mining then maybe setup a watchtower on one of the far hills. going to take one of the spare beds.

HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Farmed and expanded the farm with seeds. I'm down in the valley in 'front' of the villa and am setting up some animal pens. I've got sheep and looking for more chickens. I've seen a cow or two around as well.

I need coal, however, for lights.

Seems like there's an ongoing conversation... oh well I'll post anyway :)

I recently played through the majority of the content in TPPI, the biggest FTB modpack. Kept me and a buddy busy for a couple weeks. Lots of fun content there, and even more if you are into building cool shit rather than just making all the mod content machines/power/etc.

Apparently I'm the farmer. Everyone else is busy 'mining'. Whatever that is.

:)

I've got cows, chickens, white sheep, a black sheep, and grey sheep.

If someone finds a village some carrots would be great, so we can get pigs and rabbits.

If someone gets another black sheep in that pen and starts breeding them, that would be awesome as well.

I expanded the sleeping area a bit on the lower level.

The valley is a good spot. We can wall it in and make it an unassailable fortress once we get a good dump of coal and can cook up mass amounts of stone.

I am considering my XP levels fully up for grabs and will enchant whatever anyone wants as soon as I have a few racked up.

Probably going to go on a biome/village hunt in my next session. I need to start farming the rarer ingredients if I'm going to get into the brewing.

So I just did a big mining session. Three suits of armor for the 3 occupied beds (on armor stands for y'all). Obsidian acquired (already made anvil and enchanting table) with extra for creating nether portal. Plenty of lapis for people to get some basic enchantments.

And I fed your cows and sheep obdi.

Bon Jovi thanks you for the armour.

Had a quick session this morning and excavated some more room downstairs. I had to quit in a hurry (minor emergency) and so the anvil may or may not be in the right place. I'll be back on to fix it.

Should have more room for storage and stuff down there now. Hopefully I can get on tonight and finish up the lower level. If anybody happens to have any sand, I'd love if you could leave me some to make glass out of. No worries if not - I can get it.

EDIT - Floor all fixed up. I knocked down a few signs on peoples' beds and can't remember whose was whose. You'll have to set those back up.

Started a small logging camp out on the northern frontier -- the birch/oak forest. Found a zombie spawner almost immediately - very near the surface.

Can you pick up spawners with a feather touch pick? If so it would be a good thing to grab for our base so we can set up an XP grinder.

EDIT - if not I'll look up what's involved with setting one up at the spawner site.

Cannot pick up with a feather touch pick. Have tried and failed.

Savannah! Woo! Last type of wood. I'll grab some saplings and start acacia breeding to go with the rest
