Just finished Lair of the Shadow Broker. Best DLC yet; very well put together. Every aspect of it was awesome, and it was great to catch up with Liara. Looking forward to seeing where the relationship goes in ME3.

It's kinda already out and I've just finished it.
Not bad, all things considered, by no match for Overlord or Lair of the Shadow Broker... Too short. Not enough lore.
But the finish scene is worth it

Played it this morning, nice for a couple of hours. Overlord and Shadow Broker were better indeed. Wouldn't want to miss this one though.

I've had Mass Effect 3 on pre-order at EB games for months now despite there being no official release date yet. I've played ME2 through 6 times already this year and ME1 8 times....I really need a new installment.

One beef I have with ME in comparison to, say, DA:O, is the difficulty... it's not very challanging. The Shadow Broker on Nightmare is nowhere near as hard as, say, The Harvester from Golems of Amgarrak...
I should probably do a full Nightmare playthrough sometime soon. I'm missing like 5 achievements from the list!

I've just started my13th or 14th 11th playthrough but this time I have the Lair of the Shadow Broker as well!

Doing a playthrough on an Adept Shepard right now on Insanity and... well, let me just say that after Insanity, playing on any other difficulty would feel hollow and redundant. It really makes you appreciate proper tactics and team composition. Also powers like Overload, Warp and Incinerate will be your best friends.
Only just got on the Collector Ship yesterday night and gonna continue today, picking up Assault Rifle usage inside. Got the Cain prepped for the Praetorian inside the ship, too ;] I wonder if it'll kill it in one shot (doubtful, sadly).
In any case, Heavy Warp ftw. Singularity is somewhat weak on Insanity, but I imagine it's godly on lower difficulties. I'm not quite so sure about Warp Ammo since for something to be under the effects of biotics, it has to be down to it's health bar, and everything's got tonnes of armor/barrier/shields on Insanity... I'm considering switching the additional power to AP ammo, the anti-shield ammo, or maybe Stasis...
Also, if you're an adept... bring two Heavy Overload teammates to geth missions. Grunt/Mordin for Blood Pack, Grunt/Garrus for Eclipse and Garrus and Garrus/Miranda for Blue Suns, as a general rule, but... if you want to go on Insanity, review who you'll be facing before choosing your team, and make sure you've got plenty of counters to armor/barrier/shields appropriate for enemies in that mission.

I love this franchise.
Got all the DLC and just finished my 4th play through.
Renegade Fem shep is so bad ass, I really cant stand the male actors voice now.

I finally got around to finishing this last night.
Awesome, awesome game, what a great finale too - one of the most satisfying endings I've played for ages, if not ever.
Those final fights with the choices to make, followed by the last boss, followed by the escape - then a finger up to the Illusive Man, and all the crew making it through on top of that... no wonder nearly every review gives it a solid 10/10.
I haven't played any other game that blends gameplay with a true cinematic experience so well, or has such believable characters, dialogue options, voice acting etc.
Bring on ME3.
(Is Lair of the Shadow Broker worth a look? Can you even play it after the final showdown? And is there any impact on ME3?)

Worth a look? Fuck Yeah - I think it's the best DLC for any game I've played. Well worth it.

Edit: I would actually recommend all DLCs for Mass Effect 2. Kasumi's loyalty mission (Stolen Memory) is pretty awesome, and she's a mighty fun character on her own. Overlord is imo worth a look as well, even if "just" for Simon Templemann's voice acting and the story. Fuck the vehicle section though. So OK, avoid Firestorm or w/e is the name of the vehicle DLC.

I agree, the Firewalker DLC is pretty boring.
Kasumi's DLC is cool, and she makes a good teammate. You really can't interact with her all that much on the Normandy though. Oh, and you get the best SMG with her DLC.
I just got ShadowBroker and running through it right now. I didn't get prompted to level up Liara when the mission started and I got killed pretty quick. When I start it up tonight I need to remember to check Liara's stats and see if I can level her up (I'm at 26 or 27). That should help with the mission.

I want to finish the Suicide Run, as a Paragon, with the whole team surviving . . . on insanity. I'm finishing up my Paragon Infiltrator Insanity game right now. Got the Reaper IFF Core and I'm on Legion's Loyalty mission right now. As soon as I finish it, the

I've just started an insanity playthrough as an adept. My plan is to lose as many as possible in the finale, and thus make Shepard fight the Reapers on her own in ME3. I know they'll give me a new crew in the next game, so I'll have to kill them too.
Renegade Ladyshep don't need no help. If you offer her help, she will headbutt you. She will certainly be looking for opportunities to 'accidentally' put Freddy Prinz Junior's character into a woodchipper.
On second thoughts, I might keep Garrus around. Garrus can be my right-hand dude.
