Who/what is d'rek? SPOILERS all books with worm issues

I never found any topics on this god through the search.

What's everyone's interpretation of D'rek, the worm that gnaws at the heart of the world? What does this mean? What do his/her priests do? What warren is he/she master of? Either I missed the info given, or SE never gave any in the first place?

I tend to think of D'rek as similar to Nidhögg from norse mythology, the dragon/serpent that gnaws at the roots of Yggdrasil (the world tree) and will eventually help to start Ragnarök.

What I remember about D'rek is that she/he/it is associated with autumn and decay, and that atleast some of the rituals dedicated to D'rek seemed to involve crippling and killing of animals, and generally just seriously unplesant. (Doesn't Banaschar mention something about it at one point?)
Either way D'rek got seriously upset about something a while ago and ended up killing of all the priests and such.

Sanity is nothing more than an excuse for being boring.

I think of D'rek as the antithesis of Burn. I could be way off though. There's not much information about D'rek himself (pretty sure D'rek is described as a he by banaschar).

D'rek is the god aspected to decay. Therefore I view her aspect as midway between Death and Earth

Tayschrenn (who was a highpriest of D'rek once) said something about the acceptance of Death

Yeah and iirc they mention the season of d'rek or something similar, where everything rots and such

So far I've got:
1. God of decay, not to be confused with poliel, goddess of pestilence and disease
2. Killed worshippers for some vague reason
3. Worship involves inflicting suffering on others.
4. Both Banaschar and Tayschrenn used to be worshippers.

Anything else?

the reason she/he (its a worm hey? who cares what gender it is) killed their priesthood is because they demanded the power of blood, the elder way, and also, though this is less clear, because they associated with the CG or something like that. quote is in BH if anyone cares to look it up

I have a vague recollection about D'rek being present in Banaschar as remarked upon by Curdle and Telorast in I think RG. Although what this means is beyond me.

Didn't one of the glossaries (GotM, maybe) say D'rek and Poliel were sometimes the same?

I thought D'rek was a She. Also , I thought that she killed her preists becasue they had allied with the Crippled God....

It's said that D'rek can be both a he or a she depending on his/her followers. And yeah I also understood that he/she killed his/her priests because they had allied with the CG.

I just so happened to come upon this paragraph on my RG reread [from Banaschar's POV]:
