Tevez and Dzeko most certainly, and probably Adebayor, too. Just not in the way Citteh uses him.... rather with a great technical nr 10 to do all the hard work except perhaps the scoring, like at Arsenal.

I'm just worried they're linking Adebayor to Liverpool now... cause a massive battering ram clearly fits the way the remainder of the squad plays? I wish Hodgson would be told to fuck off before he gets to spend around 30 million euro on players complementary to "his vision", who are proving to be a complete waste of cash when someone capable takes over halfway through the second half of the season and has to dump them in the summer. After all, judging by what he bought so far.... I'd say the ones (poulsen, mereiles, konchesky) he did get are not quite the pillars under the team, aren't they?

I'm guessing Comolli got Hodgson hamstrung on the transfermarket this window, so I'm not to worried about Adebayor or another Poulsen fuck up. That said, Mereiles is a class player, and it's unfair of you to lump him in with Poulsen and Konchesky.

Enjoying the fact that Andy Gray can no longer offend my ears every week (£100 says ITV hire him). I liked his appreciation of stats, however everything else about him added up to giant twat.

My major piece of evidence is his comments in the champs league final a few years ago when it was Barca vs Arsenal. Leman got sent off early on and he claimed that the ref ruined the game. His argument was that the ref could have just played advantage and waited to see if Barca scored, the logic being that if they did score, he wouldn't have to send Leman off. Bullshit, mate. A red is a red. If he had played advantage, he should have still sent him off after the fact.
