Hazard is amazing. Closest thing there currently is to Ronaldinho in style, and I'm not entirely certain he won't end up that good- I'm certain he'll be at least Iniesta sort of level and could well be Messi/Ronaldo. He's gonna cost a bomb though.

And that's what the sports group is for

He fits the bill. Around 20 mln now, while he is 19 - major injuries not withstanding (I'm slightly afraid of those, he puts a lot of pressure on his tendons with those quick turns and deep seat), you can sell him for 30 or more by the time he is 24, which is before his real prime even starts.

Why are the Liverpool players training in sporsts bras? And do they think they're super(wo)man just because they've got it on the outside of the shirt?

gutted city got clichy. We havnt had a decent left back in years. Also our midfield is gonna be crowded like tottenham was/is.
I cant help thinking Lucas will get pushed out which is a shame as hes growing as a player

So Liverpool have had a £15m bid for Stuart Downing rejected by AV (to which I say, thank fuck). And it seems that Kenny may now be turning to Juan Mata of Valencia.
It is perfectly monstrous the way people go about nowadays saying things against one, behind one's back, that are absolutely and entirely true.

Far too many, what with our inability to sell of the slag from past seasons. And Aquilani's coming back from Italy. Irony is, situation being as is, we're looking to sell of Mereiles - one of our best players. A fat, sluggish scotsman (albeit with a brilliant foot) for an elegant, mobile portugese national? Can someone please help me see the reasoning here?

Apparently Mereiles wants a wage hike that Liverpool aren't willing to give. To be fair, Adam is probably quite a good replacement if you are replacing Mereiles. Although Stuart Holden would have been a better one.

Not to mention Philip Degen and Milan Jovanovic. Two free transfers who's getting paid far too much compared to their (in) ability to play. Get rid of them and we can afford to keep Mereiles on a higher pay roll.

He's got a free transfer, and will settle for less pay per month according to Belgian teletext.
Hope we're looking at Mata instead of Downing... but I fear we'll buy average english again. The thing with Mereiles is that he's playing up field, which is where Suarez and/or Gerrard can play with the same dynamic and better passing/shooting, with Carroll as target man.
Adam can play closer to the defense and still feed the forwards and wingers, plus, amazing free kicks by a leftie, which is his one advantage over Defour (who we apparently were also interested in).
My main problem with the man is that I fear we need someone who's faster and better defensively in the matches against top 6 than Adam is. Spearing is much more dynamic but (as of yet) not good enough to put the fright in players of Modric' or Silva's level. Should have spent 20 mln on M'Vila after all, next year, after the euro championships, he's going to cost twice that

So, left back (Cissokho?), centre back (Scott Dann?), versatile striker (you name it, as long as it is Bojan) and a winger (pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaase let it be Mata) to go, and a rubbish bin full of overpaid guys in their late twenties to get rid of.
Best we net all those folks before Fabregas (or even worse, 'cause Arsene won't spend it), Modric or Tevez gets their transfers, 'cause the transfer market will make less sense than a mentally disabled ward appearing on QI after that happens.

It's been agreed that he can speak to other clubs, making it an informal absolvation of his contract. But if he can't find another club who can match his salary demands (which seems likely with the pay he's getting now), or he simply want to stay on, sucking on the Liverpool money tit, we'll be stuck with him. As of yet, he's still a Liverpool FC employee.

Yeah, but he has said that he's willing to settle for less pay elsewhere if that means he gets to play, so that's good news - he's as of yet not willing to just grab his money while eating burgers on the stands. Might be some german team is willing to pick him up.

Has to be a city with serbs in it, though. Cause, apparently, that's what makes him shit.
