A Saturday?
Well if I'm free I'll be there, no promises though I usually do something with friends on Saturday.
What will we be using to chat this time?

Ugh this is going to be the longest four minutes of my life plus stoppage time! England needs to hold on to this lead and Algeria needs to contain the US. I can barely bear to watch it!!!1

Well both US and England won their respective matches, so they're both going through. I don't hold out much hope for either team making it beyond the next round. I don't think either side have played very well so far in the tournament and England is likely coming up against Germany, which doesn't bode well.

I want to vomit.

And not because I've drunk too much, and eaten in a dodgy back-alley turkish restaurant.

We scraped win against fucking Slovenia, a ntion with about 27 people and a tractor. Pathetic. Two goals in three games, and at no point have we looked in any way convincing. No way we beat Germany,

I have to agree with you TT, group C was really a disgrace. Neither team is going to make it very far unless they significantly improve their game play. They're going to be facing teams of my higher quality in the next round.

very true about both teams but i think they both will step up their games. England can only play better as they have played like crap these group games, so hopefully they rise up and play better as a team, like they should have been doing. The us needs to play better defense, they have shown they can score, they had so many chances throughout the game today, just didnt execute. they make plenty of opportunities so we will see if they cna make the most of them in the next round.

I'm impressed that the U.S. is still in.

I have the day off, due to it being la St-Jean.
The big party was yesterday. And I had not a drop of alcohol.
The city should be calm enough what with everyone nursing hang overs and cleaning up yesterday's mess.

Hangover abated and a long weekend of football ahead of me. Brilliant. :)

How soft was that Denmark penalty just now?

Dive. Japan has owned this game. beautiful half-volley earlier though by Denmark that went off the post.

How good is that Honda bloke?

He's just got himself a move to Europe on the strength of that performance.

Although I did enjoy seeing Bendtner as useless for Denmark as he is for Arsenal.

I, meanwhile, have the day off! Mwahahaha. Couple more hours bumming around, then off to go watch the football all day and get hammered whilst discussing the horrible ways in which we'd all like to kill Frank Lumplard.

I may even pick up another horrendous sunburn, who knows?
